this is better than their debut album. great love ballad in WHEN I LOOKED AT HIM. i was a theatre assistant manager when this album came out-i was 22 at the time-and everytine i hear it, i think of the good old days. i became THE biggest expose fan around with this album. unforutnately i never got to see them in person :-( janette jurado (my favorite of the three) is a local girl-Pico Rivera, Ca. I'm not from there, but pretty close. what up, chica?! anyway, this is a must have album for any self-respecting expose fan! if you don't have it, get it!!!!

Yes this album is a little different from what brought N.E.R.D. crashing into the hip hop scene. But with talent and creativity of the Neptunes steering the wheel behind this project, you know you won't hear the same sound twice. This is a great album and creative reaproach their sound. Give it a chance and an open mind and you just might like it.

Even though the original is the tightest version, especially the way the beginning bass line starts out, the bass line on these remixes are just as tight. And then on the extended version of the single, the way the horns come in with the rest of the instruments followed by Mimi in an almost acapella voice make this single a must have...Just Make It Happen. What an inspirational song.

I have heard this album in its original state on the LP/Vinyl version when it came out in 1981, and might I say, that was one of the best Maze albums of all time. What I cannot believe is that some of the songs that were on the album are not on neither the CD or the MP3 version. I was getting ready to download this classic album onto my i-Pod when I discovered that the "Introduction" and a couple of other songs that were present on the LP/Vinyl version were missing from the CD/MP3 version.

For this reason, I decided against downloading it to my i-Pod. What Frankie Beverly needs to do is re-release CD, and make it so that it is EXACTLY like the original album. If and when he does that, then I'll consider buying the CD then (and ... Read More:

Every generation gets the White Album it deserves, and after 20 years of dust-settling we can take a clear look at this generation's.
