For someone who has never danced and wants to learn Irish Dance this is an outstanding video. Each movement of each step is done at a slow pace and then in a group at the regular speed. The only fault with the video itself is that you can not replay the steps over and over. But that aside, the DVD is an inexpensive way to learn basic Irish dance steps.

An excellent product. My memory of the old vinyl disk from which it derived ("Farewell to the Greys") is that it was better, but this one is excellent all the same. Probably the bands have become so famous since the first vinyl record they have gotten a little 'stale' with thousands of performances.

When I saw this movie not only did I enjoy watching it, but the soundtrack was particularly haunting and beautiful.

Whenever I listen to it I remember the beautiful town of Bruges and that wonderful movie.

It's also easy to pick it out on a piano. Dreamy.

I wish the "midlife" reference were not in the title as it made me hesitate and delay trying this product for way too long. It is such an exquisite treat and so powerful in way more ways than I can convey through words. David Whyte's uniquely powerful delivery adds further punch to his great insights that reach ever deeper the more one listens. Thus I found it amazing the first time I listened and keep being blown away by finding it ever more powerful every time I listen. In addition to the content, the place David Whyte speaks from is itself profoundly impactful. At the time I ended up deciding to buy this product I had greatly lamented Amazon not selling David Whyte's "poetry of self-compassion" as I had adored that tape. My family and I love all of the Winter Solstice cds but far and away III is the best of the bunch. Songs like "In the Bleak Midwinter" and "Snow is Lightly Falling" are so simple and haunting and stir a soul-recognition of this time of year that few other songs can match. We start playing it in late November and continue right thru to early spring. We will have to replace it soon as we are wearing it out. I cannot imagine December without it.
