This is another solid offering from Testament, and is good from the start to the end.

While I list the Legacy as the best thrash metal album ever, the New Order is literally every bit as good, it's just the Legacy was the bands defining album as it came first.

The album did not sell too well for the band, possibly because MTV was too big on Metallica, Guns N Roses and Motley Crue to promote bands like Testament, certainly not because the album is lacking in material.

The Best of Motorhead is a great collection of songs. I've had it for about a month now and it's almost all I listen to. This was the first Motorhead CD(s) I've bought. I'm not sure why I waited so long because I've really been missing out! They probably could have left off the song from the girl band and Louie Louie, but it's still a great collection.

I'm old, but this is ok. I will watch this again over time, but I prefer all concert footage on one DVD and the rest on the other. RIP Mr. Abbott. Very random Pantera. They should have given Darrell more footage, but I'd still have a few drinks with them, if they could keep up:)

this cd put death metal at the forfront may other were playing it morbid angel,obituary,entombed,possessed and many consider the whole uk grindcore thing but not me.ths was a how to of sorts to the world (florida style.thi was more than screams and super fast guitars and blast beats.this was brutally heavy guitar riffs with controlled speed bursts and thunderious drumming fast double bass and great time changes.this cd scream fury and power with controll and restraint,not fast and oveer the top as possible this said watch this (i'll show you musicial brutallity with talent!

Once your ears are able to pervade the vacuum-like production, you'll realize how awesome this album is. It's a jaw-dropping mix of technicality, brutality, and social commentary. The social commentary isn't particularly deep, but it still fits the music well, as does Chuck Schuldiner's raspy voice. My only real complaints regarding Human are that Steve DiGiorgio's bass is practically inaudible (what is it with extreme metal and inaudible bass guitars?), and that Paul Masvidal should have been given more lead guitar opportunities. He has a very distinctive style, while Chuck Schuldiner tends to play rather similar-sounding solos, but that's a minor complaint.

I love this album plain and simple, and this is coming from a guy who lives for death metal like kalmah, amon amarth, mors principium est, insomnium, meshuggah and much more.

this album is choc full of great riffs and awesome vocals, in fact, im starting to think this is the kind of vocalist in flames are trying to imitate. well there later stuff anyway.

all in all this is a great album and in my opinion much better that as daylight dies. check it out!!

Right at the dropping hour of grunge, this tasty sonic assault emerged, and it was good. VERY good. Sepultura was about as heavy as it got back in 1991, other than the then laboring in (mostly) obscurity, fledgling death, black and grind scenes...

Heavy, brutal, raw, primal, aggressive, antisocial, tribal, throbbing and pounding... nothing else in 1991 sounded anything like this. And it's still extremely good today.
