Disneymania 2 is not just for kids--it's for the child inside of me, too! This album is chock full of peppy tunes that make me smile. The quality of the sound is excellent and the artwork is very nicely done.
"Welcome" by Jump 5 has kids and "tweens" everywhere enjoying their teen pop sound! The percussion helps to mark the beat and Jump 5 sings this upbeat, catchy melody with all their might; and this helps to make "Welcome" a solid introductory number for this album. Great! "True To Your Heart" gets the royal treatment from Raven; Raven sings and plays this to perfection--and wow, what a number! This is yet another upbeat number from the folks at Disney and it really has a great pop beat. "True To Your Heart" is clearly a major ... Read More:

Let's call it what it is... Pop. And it's fun and great. The CD has some high quality performers. My young daughter loves it, I love it. As much as I don't like the Bratz dolls, the movie was fun with a good message and the soundtrack is great.

This is amazing stuff. These girls are a great talent, and their production team is doing some of the most varied, interesting and sweet sounding work you could imagine. Listening to the production chops on Aly and A.J.'s records is like listening to Greg Howe play guitar - there's just not much more you can do and still remain tasty.
I have listened to "Into the Rush", "Acoustic Hearts of Winter", "Insomniatic", and their EP release "Chemicals React".
"Into the Rush" stands as one of their greatest - an a truly awesome effort, regardless that's it's their first, but even more impressive because of it.
If you like pop music with a heavy edge and good vocals, you will love almost all their stuff. Some ... Read More:

I love this, its one her greatest albums, this was an amazing cd, knowing how much talent she has. I look up to her, and i think she's a great role model. I;ve had the chance of meeting her, and her sister, and they're both so very nice and sweet, honest most definitly...

Okay so if you're a fanatic you bought the singles. So for 2 becomes 1 you get the version with Posh singing that bit instead of Geri (less politcally correct version about "boys and girls look good together" vs Posh's "love will bring us back together". I still don't get what was redone/mixed with my favorite "Spice Up your Life" song. I wish they did an extended intro like from the movie!!! Who Do You think you are is the video version where the ending (Mel C's chant) is shorter which is AWESOME. I wish Holler was the extended version or video version. Goodbye the intro is shorter i guess like the video. Say You'll Be There" I think that was pretty much the same, I was hoping they'd do the alternate opening they did on the Istanbul concert/Mtv concert ... Read More:

David Cassidy & the Partridge Family: The Definitive Collection has incredibly fine hits by both David Cassidy as a soloist and The Partridge Family as a whole including David Cassidy. This music brings back many fond memories for me of watching the television show with my mother and sister back in the day; and the quality of the sound here is perfect. The artwork is very nicely done as well. Sure, maybe a song or two could have been added or replaced, but it's a very strong CD nonetheless.
"I Think I Love You" has a terrific arrangement including that awesome harpsichord work. "I Think I Love You" is a very strong, pretty pop ballad with that distinctly `70s flavor to it. David Cassidy sings this passionately and his excellent diction ... Read More:

Having heard a few really great tracks off this album, I decided to see how much more The Click Five could impress me. And while no songs impress me as much as "Headlight Disco," "Flipside," and "I'm Getting Over You," most of the album entertains and pleases any listener with impressive vocals and songs that try to add a little bit more depth and variety than your average pop punk album.
As with any good pop punk album, the first three opening tracks aim to please with their rockin' atmosphere. They're catchy, fun and perfect for any summer. "Addicted To Me" brings in some synths to add a 80s/new wave feel to it, but the song is mid-tempo, and isn't that exiting to listen to.
As I said in my review of "I'm Getting Over You," the ... Read More:

If you know Lester's work, you know that he makes lousy films that are sometimes funny. This is a lousy film which is sometimes funny. But the girls really have no talent. Victoria Beckham can sort of sing, but that's about it. Not much at all really.

It's a cute CD...I love the fact that they used the voices from the movie and not some other people like most animated Soundtracks do. I especially love that they put in the clips of the movie like where chicken little sang "We are the champions" but revised it to "I am the champion," and he only sang up to a certain part of the song. It's a good CD.
