Great songs from the 60's and I have been looking for the song Peter Rabbit since 1966. When I got home from the service in late 1966 it was off the shelf in my area and I located it in 2o minutes on your web-site. Thank You

This CD is pure 70's excitement. It's the best kind of music for anyone who loves retro, disco, fun music. It's also great for anyone that's feeling down because I don't know anyone who can listen to Tony Orlando without smiling. My favorite song is probably you're favorite as well, "Knock Three Times." I really enjoy all the songs on this CD, it's packed with Tony Orlando & Dawn's best, especially "Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree," "Vaya Con Dios" & "Carmen." Knock 3 times if you love Tony Orlando!

Excellent debut from another vocally mature young lady. Brandy debuted at a time when there was a bit of a vacuum for really young singers in the r&b music field. Initially a lot of people wrote her off or chose not to view her as a serious artist because she was so young at the time but once they got to listen to the music without prejudice towards her age, they realized that she was a very talented artist who was going to be around for a long time.
I loved everything about Brandy - her sultry vocals, her sweet persona & how involved her parents were in her imaging (they carefully avoided the over-sexualized "Lolita-esque" image which helped Brandy grow up with her fans).
I also love that although this album debuted in 1994, ... Read More:

Before Hanson grew up and had children, before they left the corporate record indursty and went indies, and before they hit puberty, they recorded "Middle of Nowhere", one of the most relentlessly catchy pop records ever produces.
1997 was a year that was the comback for pop. 1997 brought us the Spice Girls, The Backstreet Boys, and of course Hanson! For some, the mention of Hanson will conjure up images of pre-pubescent boys that looked and sounded like girls and will probably induce the desire to slit ones wrist. For others, 1997, the year of Hanson, will always be the best year of their lives. Why such extreme reactions? It is simply because when a band gets so huge like Hanson was, and what makes them endearing is also annoying to many, ... Read More:

I bought this cd because I love the first three songs - the rest of the album isn't bad but I just wanted to grab mp3s of Pretend to be nice, Spin around, and Three small words. You can't find the songs available for legal download right now. The movie is okay and I must confess I own it, but the music is better on its own. If you're a fan of the old comics or cartoon you will probably be disappointed, but if you're just looking for some clean funky girl jams these are nice - I think it'd be a particularly good gift album for a tween girl looking for some new music.

I agree with a previous reviewer about the omission of "9 Crimes" by Damien Rice. The song has explicit lyrics, and the producers may have felt it was an inappropriate choice. However, why they chose to keep it in the movie we can only guess! I got the song from iTunes. Beautiful!
