I agree with the previous reviewer... I have no idea why they haven't caught on more in the states. Their harmony is amazing. Listening to them alone on my Bose system is pretty much my idea of excstacy. I typically hate "boy bands" however these guys can actually sing.

Back nearly what 17 years ago my young daughter from the age 5 up through Elementry School age was such a fan of the New Kids and owned all the products out from pillows, barbies, dolls and sleepingbag of this band , dont get me started on all the posters everwhere. She had the music on for all to hear and their music was not just for the kids, the adults as myself and the other parents really deep down enjoyed too. Now that they are comming back as Men I should say, I sure would love to take in that concert with my daughter. When she grew up she saw Joey McEntire and I believe Jordan Knight in concert. ,The new cd is due out on my birthday September 2, 2008. I will be waiting like most everyone from over the years. I saw a go-go themed video on YouTube that would've made a great music video for "A Different Party" a few weeks ago. After asking around, I finally found out who did the song, and now I'm in TOTAL SHOCK seeing that he's a former NKOTB. All the music on this CD is slick - Jordan proves here that he's no kid. The other thing that shocks me is tthe fact that this CD is from 1999! Sonya McLeod is RIGHT when she says it's TIMELESS! I certainly GOTTA have this one!

These compilations were never the best of the music at the time. Instead, they were the most popular. And what was popular at this point was mostly cheesy bubblegum pop.

Some of the songs are still good. "Flagpole Sitta" by Harvey Danger is a fun song, and "Zoot Suit Riot" by the Cherry Poppin' Daddies is always a good time. You can't go wrong with Lenny Kravitz or Radiohead. "All My Life" by KC and JoJo pretty good, as well.

And then there's the not so good. The Hanson song is extremely dated and annoying, but it wasn't THAT bad. The song was targeted towards children, not adults.
