This is [sort of] the Brit version of "Pocketful of Sunshine"...each album has songs the other doesn't. My own favorites are "I Wanna Have Your Babies" [yes, it's perfectly clean], "Soulmate" and the reprise of "Unwritten". Most of the songs are about relationships, but none of the problems are TOO bad. "Tricky Angel" is really novel, "Backyard" is catchy, and "Smell the Roses" is special, with a great message....

I agree with a previous reviewer about the omission of "9 Crimes" by Damien Rice. The song has explicit lyrics, and the producers may have felt it was an inappropriate choice. However, why they chose to keep it in the movie we can only guess! I got the song from iTunes. Beautiful!

I got her EP as a special from Wind-Up, and after her tracks on Elektra and Fantastic Four, wanted more. The EP rocks. Then apparently she was being creativly pushed in a direction she didn't want to go, so delayed the album to "fix it". Well as some have noted, it is a bit bipolar. The tracks that are the best are from the EP, the others, while not bad, have an absolutely different feel, much like a nauseating sharp turn on a bad roller coaster.

And to boot, during a rough time in my life, she was incredibly rude to me, taking no responsibility for her image or actions. So if I ever buy her stuff, it will be secondhand. I feel no compulsion for her to make a dime off of me.

This band the naked brothers band sucks! They suck so bad and they think they're so cool and they get all the freakin girls! one of them is like freakin 9 and he dates? OH MY GOD! These losers are bums and are lazy and spoiled. Who would name a freakin band The Naked brothers band. These suckers don't deserve to be popular! I hope they will be forgotten and will be considered UNCOOL! They should just grow up! They're not even Teenagers yet and they're on TEEN NICK? The old ones like twelve and the other ones like 9? I'd love to kick their butts big time. Id rater throw up or die than listen to these idiots! THROW UP ON THE FREAKIN ALBUM FOR ALL I CARE! That's what id do!

I still only like 3 songs on this whole album...Independent Woman, part 1, Survivor, and the gospel medley. Oh, Emotions wasn't so bad either. I honestly just wasn't into the rest of the songs on this album. But I didn't waste too much money since I bought it used for 40 cents and now I have my favorite songs on my MP3 player.

So, if you asked me would I buy it new, I'd tell you no. And that's my two cents.

Not a bad Del Shannon cd but a Del Shannon tune is not on it. The tune "I Go To Pieces" is not on it,you know it as a British Invasion hit. And after you hear it, you'll know why he didn't have a hit with it.

Back nearly what 17 years ago my young daughter from the age 5 up through Elementry School age was such a fan of the New Kids and owned all the products out from pillows, barbies, dolls and sleepingbag of this band , dont get me started on all the posters everwhere. She had the music on for all to hear and their music was not just for the kids, the adults as myself and the other parents really deep down enjoyed too. Now that they are comming back as Men I should say, I sure would love to take in that concert with my daughter. When she grew up she saw Joey McEntire and I believe Jordan Knight in concert. ,The new cd is due out on my birthday September 2, 2008. I will be waiting like most everyone from over the years. In my opinion, this is a great album. All of the songs are good if you like music (that is, if you don't pigeonhole yourself into listening to specific genres only, and you're open to all types of music).

There is one big problem with this disc, however. Edwin McCain's "I'll Be" skips at 1:15 into the track. It repeats the last couple of seconds instead of what should be there (so technically, it doesn't skip, but there was a problem in the manufacturing process). At first I thought my encoder messed up, but a second encoding had the same result. I looked at the disc, and it looks perfect, no marks or scratches or anything. I checked it in my stereo, and sure enough, the track skips at 1:15.
