I agree with a previous reviewer about the omission of "9 Crimes" by Damien Rice. The song has explicit lyrics, and the producers may have felt it was an inappropriate choice. However, why they chose to keep it in the movie we can only guess! I got the song from iTunes. Beautiful!

This is so much fun! My daughter and I have girl time singing off key to this. As a special treat a few times a year, I plan to take my karaoke machine and several of the kid favorites to my classroom for my students to enjoy. They'll know every word of this new classic!

David Cassidy & the Partridge Family: The Definitive Collection has incredibly fine hits by both David Cassidy as a soloist and The Partridge Family as a whole including David Cassidy. This music brings back many fond memories for me of watching the television show with my mother and sister back in the day; and the quality of the sound here is perfect. The artwork is very nicely done as well. Sure, maybe a song or two could have been added or replaced, but it's a very strong CD nonetheless.

"I Think I Love You" has a terrific arrangement including that awesome harpsichord work. "I Think I Love You" is a very strong, pretty pop ballad with that distinctly `70s flavor to it. David Cassidy sings this passionately and his excellent ... Read More:

joey mcintyre has a very good singing voice, one that is made to belt out ballads and, in another life, show tunes on the broadway stage. but he is not (i repeat, NOT) a crooner in the classic style of the rat pack, and he shouldn't be attempting to replicate that sound. this is unfortunate because joey does have talent, it is just not being utilized at all in this album. let's hope that he is given an opportunity to let loose on some power ballads on the new NKOTB album (i can't believe i just typed those words).

The Jets were one of the Teen Pop bands who churned out dance pop hits in the mid 80's with a fun, innocent dance vibe. The first tune I remember was "Curiosity"(1985)... That was followed by "Crush on You"(1986)...both of these were extremely popular on the Dancefloors of the mid 80's. This is a very good compilation Album with only 1 of my favorites missing ( the remake of the Del-Fonics great, "La,La means I love you"). I am not a big fan of the 20th Centary Masters collections but this one represents the Jets very nicely with other hits 'You've got it all", "Cross My broken Heart" and Sending my love showing a few different sides to the group. ....who try to sing, whose words you either can't understand, or wish you couldn't, Natasha is a breath of fresh air. A total joy. Sexy does NOT mean trashy; Natasha is sexy, clean, and a treasure. She comes from a background in Christian music, and the lessons have stuck....

This is [sort of] the Brit version of "Pocketful of Sunshine"...each album has songs the other doesn't. My own favorites are "I Wanna Have Your Babies" [yes, it's perfectly clean], "Soulmate" and the reprise of "Unwritten". Most of the songs are about relationships, but none of the problems are TOO bad. "Tricky Angel" is really novel, "Backyard" is catchy, and "Smell the Roses" is special, with a great message....

This is Britney's best album, in my oppinion. That's not a compliment. It's a few catchy upbeat tracks mixed with some seemingly heartfelt yet corny ballads. While I admit myself it's cute & silly to listen to...it's hardly at all a work of art. I wonder just how many old perverts bought this album just to look through the picture booklet...lol. With that said, I can only compliment Britney's naturally gorgeous face and her high-pumped, contagious energy. It's a great album to own if you're just having a spontaneously crazy day and want to enjoy some innocent fun! I play it often. hahaha. XD I like to reflect on Britney's older days.
