We borrowed this cd from the library originally and my boys (2 & 4 yrs. old) loved it. After listening to it a few times the songs were just constantly running through my head -but they were so fun that I didn't mind. My boys love to have "dance parties" with Mom and Dad. This cd gets *frequent* requests! These songs are fun and catchy and get everybody moving. We love it.

The five of us range in age from 5 to 40 and we all laugh and laugh to the stories on this CD!! Give Bill's CDs as gifts instead of plastic stuff from China.

My husband mentioned listening to Little Orley stories as a little kid and loving them. Now we have a 4 year old and I hunted the albums down for her as well as for my husband's nostalgia. They have been very popular in our family- especially for long car rides. In the 4 hour ride to the airport, our daughter picked Little Orley CD over DVD's. The stories are funny little fantasy vignettes about a little kid and the creatures or things around him that have a life of their own- like the poison ivy singing about catching Orley or the "yellow soap" that chants about coming to save him from ivy. I'd bought this CD along with several others for my daughter to listen to on car trips, when she was about two years old. There are only two of them that she still enjoys seven years later, and this is one of them. Believe it or not, after seven years, even I still love this one!

The songs are really funny, or at least they fit my sense of humor. Lines like "why do you need a hairbrush, you don't have any hair" (said to a tomato!), "I'm swimming with fishes here (in the belly of a whale)/I'm highly nutritious here (in the belly of a whale)," "if you need an air compresser to blow fruit flies off your dresser," and "you are his cheeseburger, his tasty cheeseburger/he'll wait for you-oo-oo!" make me smile every time I hear them.

Fun lyrics, unexpected music styles from song to song (but nothing shoking). Nice to have kid music that's not soapy. This is definitely not!...worth a buy, something "different" for your kid music collection. Good, creative.
