I originally bought this CD thinking it would be a sweet thing to play for the kids. Boy was I wrong, the lyrics are disgusting, distastful and offensive. I have never heard so many gross innuendos in such a short time span. If they were trying to break some sort of record then I stand up and applaud them. I would bow to them, but as is clearly stated in "Teletubbies Title Song," they would take advantage of that in horrible ways. The song Rock-A-Bye Baby gave the impression of kidnapping a mothers babdy by luring it to sleep with an enchanting lullaby, while the only thing the mother can do is wave bye...rock a bye. This album is great. My three year old loves the tunes and I love the lyrics as well.
Track #7 is one of my favorite songs ever, it has the feel of the Tetons. I would reccomend anything by the banana slug string band.

I dearly love this work, mostly for the beautifully rendered music and sounds. While the creation story that's told is quite moving and lovely, the narrator's voice seems forced and unnatural; however, since I purchased the work on tape many years ago, I have not only the narrative with music, but also the instrumental and sounds portion without the narration, and the latter is what I listen to all the time. Incidentally, all the music was composed by Mark Lineberry, an extremely talented and spiritual individual who sadly just died of cancer this past Spring. The accolades for this CD should go to him.

Well done. Songs are crisp and clear and sung by children. There is nothing better than nice music to stimulate your child's mind and to force the use of his/her imagination. This CD accomplishes those goals.
