i've been a fan of this band since i heard of them from a friend. their melodic voices and intelligent lyrics from their previous albums have always been my weakness, but this album ascended my love for them to all new heights. the album has a soundtrack feel, and as you listen to it all the way through, the characters are brought to life by the music.

The music is excellent, the case has a 3-D cover, and the regular cover behind the 3-D one folds out into a great poster, which has pictures on the back of it. This soundtrack has two disks and contains the the song "Jedi Rock" from Jabba's palace and the celebration song at the end of the movie. "Luke and Leia's theme is beautiful, while the action music makes you feel like you are right there in the movie. I think that every Star Wars fan should own this item.

you would have to buy dozens of individual soundtracks to include even some of the music here. slight adjustment to john williams (for example) originals but well performed. outstanding variety. use these cds to jump start your day with triumph!

I recently used this CD as the primary music played during a Star Wars Themed Birthday party for my 7 year old (age could have been 17 or 70...this CD will still be equally enjoyed). We played it continuously during Jedi Knight/Princess Leia obstacle course, Pod races, Capture the planet of Naboo, and Balloon Light Saber Battles. It is my all around favorite and certainly worth the price! Highly Recommend.

I share the same disappointment with other reviewers about this new release having nothing new, except which I really like the old original album artwork picture. But I prefer the old first arrangements, which released in: 1977, and 1980, because i feel they can draw listener to another imagination world, which was Mr. George Lucas invention and intention I believe. Most reviewers here talking about CD remaster value and importance, but the more remaster used sound become ultra sharp and thin, too edgy and sterile. Mostly from three main reasons, transfer from analog to digital and back forth, digital compression and CD player noise, which affect other units.

Since I start listening from Digital I couldn't enjoyed Star Wars again as before, always felt there ... Read More:
