The Phantom Of The Opera soundtrack by Andrew Lloyd Webber is the best and most meaningful music ever created. The music provides story with a catchy tune and still provides a powerful theme. Throughout the songs you can establish a story about a young opera singer named Christine, and how she has encounters with the Phantom. The song, "The Point of no Return", is the most meaningful because it has the Phantom giving Christine a decision to spend her days with him, or watch her boyfriend, Raul, get hung. This part is very suspenseful and is presented in a very awesome way because it has all of the characters singing in a trio.

This was the first Backyardigans CD that I've bought for my daugher, and it's been worth every penny! Although I would have to agree that the packaging was less than desirable, this one will stay in the CD player anyway. This is the one disc of kids' songs that can be played over and over and you'll enjoy it as much as your kids do!

I Love my CD!! I never thought that I would like music like this. But, since I heard it over and over while watching BSG, it was very familiar and I found it comforting. I listen to it both in the car and at home especially during yoga. The seller was honest about the product, it was new, still in the wrapping. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I agree that this is probably the very best movie soundtrack ever. Twenty years after I first heard it, I still love it. An amazing achievement that stands alone, but is even more moving after watching the movie.

A wonderful recording that still sounds great today. There was no one quite like Mary Martin. For me she was the classic performer just as was Ethel Merman. These ladies were in a very special class of performer.

Wow. I should have carefully read the reviews. There are some tracks on here that spark memories of the movie (purpose of a soundtrack, perhaps?). There are tracks that seem to be missing. The tracks that are here are... out of order? What gives with that? Didn't the producer of this product watch the movie? Do the studios have any idea why we don't care to support their RIAA blunders, or their 'product'.

This is a lousy excuse for a soundtrack. It offers precious little to 'add' to the film experience. And I'll be sure to avoid a Warner Brothers / Atlantic Records collaboration in the future. How disappointing.
