In a classic case of art imitating life, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band became known by many FM radio listeners as Eddie and the Cruisers, due to their near-perfect performing of the "New Jersey/Bruce Springsteen" sound on a 1983 movie soundtrack of the same name.

And while the band found mid-1980s success on the Cobra and Rocky IV movie soundtracks, they returned to familiar turf on this 1989 release, a sequel to the fictional account of a bar band and the mysterious disappearance of their leader as they were on the cusp of striking gold on the national stage.

I enjoyed this thoroughly and found I could listen to it anywhere in the car etc. It gives you all the teachings of the best teachers on The Law of Attraction. I also would recommend again to reinforce and practice these principles the book: [[ASIN:1419674609 Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook by reading "At a glance" the summary at the end of each chapter. Wonderful book to go with a wonderful audio cd.

A very close friend gave me this CD when I was going thru a terrible breakup. I listened to the CD so much I wore it out. But with the help of the CD, my good friend, and the passing of time somehow or another I managed to survive. Fast forward years later, a different yet equally close friend of mine is going thru a divorce and, yes, you guessed it, I'm on Amazon today purchasing the CD for her. I don't know what it is, but this CD is empowering. Makes you cry, makes you angry, makes you want to dance, and makes you dare to dream again. It's a great CD and even better medicine.

LOVE THE SERIES, LOVE THE MUSIC OF THE SERIES. THIS SOUNDTRACK WOULD HAVE BEEN 5 STARS HAD THEY INCLUDED MORE MUSIC FROM THE SECOND SEASON. SPECIFICLY THIS HIPHOP TUNE ON DISC 2 THAT WAS BANGIN AND FOR ALL THE GANGSTER INNUENDO IN THIS COMEDY YOU WOULD THINK IT COULD REFLECT ON THE SOUNDTRACK. PROBABLY THE ONLY STRAIGHT HIPHOP IN EITHER SERIES AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN COOL TO HEAR IT ON THIS SOUNDTRACK. WE SCOFF WHEN WE HEAR AFRICAN AMERICANS SAY THINGS LIKE "WE STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO" THIS IS WHAT THEY MEAN. I FIND IT ODD THAT A SHOW THAT SEEMS TO HAVE NO LIMITS WOULD LIMIT THEIR SOUNDTRACK. MAYBE THE PRODUCERS THINK THEY ARE DOING US A FAVOR BY SPARING/SHELTERING US FROM THE "SCOURGE" THAT IS HIPHOP OR MAYBE THEY THINK THAT WE ARE NOT AS PROGRESSIVE ... Read More:
