Pretty soon you'll be freaking out your buddies by mock conducting it and saying dun dun da-da-da-daaa dun to the tune. Besides that, the music is awesome! Great orchestral music in a great FPS (First Person Shooter for you non-gamers) If you're thinking "Video game music? There's a CD for that now?" You are the biggest n00b in history.

This was a great buy. It was a really good price and even had 4 bonus tracks on it, that I did not know about. The bonus tracks were all great hits when this movie came out like, Quiet Riot-"Bang your Head" It took me back to the movie and back to my high shool days in the 1980's!!!!

I didn't LOVE this CD. It only has 3 or 4 good songs. The only reason they are good is because it sounds like the other 2 Soundtracks. It didn't blow me away, either. The best tracks are the following : 1, 5, 12, 13. Even so...the first song is not even complete.

I was expecting the very best of Hans Zimmer...but it disappointed me. So far, the best Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack is the first.

If you are a complete fan of these movies..then its just good for your collection, and even so, its probably going to be in a corner collecting dust. If you just like the movies and and thinking of buying this CD because of the music and previous experiences of the other soundtracks, then don't bother with this ... Read More:

I hadn't heard or even thought of "Jesus Christ Superstar" for a long time, but came across the film on cable and watched it out of curiosity. By the end of the first song, I was hooked (again). I'd forgotten how good it was. I'll review the movie separately under the item listing for the DVD, but I will report that I ended up watching it repeatedly (HD cable on demand allowed me to watch it at my convenience). It actually seemed to get better with each successive viewing, and so did the soundtrack. Both the music and the film have held up extremely well considering how old they are. In fact, I think that JCS is Andrew Lloyd Webber's very best work and while I have enjoyed "Phantom of the Opera", it's not as good.

I loved this movie so much and equally love this CD it's absolutely beautiful. I love buying soundtracks after a great movie but I am so frustrated when they don't include all the movies songs after all isn't that why we purchase these Cd's so we can be transported back to the movie. I think they should have to note on the outside of the CD case "Does Not Contain All Music From Movie" as it happens so often and this one was no exception as several were missing here to :o(
