I will watch or listen to anything with Gerard Butler! Of course The Phantom of the Opera is wonderful, but I love the soundtrack and movie to hear him. I even watched 300 just to see the body. Listen to this all the time.

This certainly must be as worthwhile a DMB album as any other they have come out with. It is one that, in retrospect especially, you get the feeling the creative effortlessness which guided all twelve of these unique afro-pop-rock-jazz fusion treats and framed all of them in such a warmth has all but completely run dry. Whether you are a fan of the band's signature sound or not is besides the point that Crash can rate as one of the more solid major label rock records of the 90's-easy. What did not become a massive hit on radio is an even greater treat to hear. Having seen the movie more than 20 or 30 times (one of my favorites!) I had to get the soundtrack. It's a good mix of the music from the movie, but it does leave out a couple of the best tracks.

Just FYI, the version of "Walking After You" that most are familiar with is on the X Files soundtrack, not this one. But in truth, both versions are enjoyable.

While the remastering is subtle at best, this is a great buy at $7.99 (well, that's what it's listed at right now) even without the glorious bonus tracks.

"Baker Street" --- I can't decide which I like better; Foo Fighters cover (Faster tempo, guitar solo, coke instead of booze. Heh.) or the Gerry Rafferty (Poignant sax solo, sense of great space). I can listen to both back to back & never be able to choose.

I don't even know where to begin. This is definitely the best CD I have heard in a long time. I got this album after hearing the song "Over My Head" on the radio, and instantly fell in love. Every single song on this album is unique and it really highlights how talented these four young men are. I recommend this album to anyone who likes good music! It is worth the money! I can't wait for their upcoming album, which will be out pretty soon!!

I got this for my dad for Father's Day to play in his truck, I knew it would bring back memories for him, I love Johnny Cash too and should have got 2 one for me...lol I guess I will get myself one later. This CD has 30 songs and is a true must have for Cash fans.

This album has it all, big anthemic radio-friendly smashes, Dark, emotional and personal ballads and more catchy hooks than you can ever wish for! I was already a fan of Kelly Clarkson and was anticipating the release of Breakaway months in advance and even I couldn't have imagined anything this good. It's most definately one of those albums you can leave on and not skip any tracks and still find yourself singing along to every single track.
1. Breakaway - The opener, co-written by Avril Lavigne is anthemic and to be honest better live when the crowd sing it back but still a nice easy opener if a little decieving. Personally my least favorite on the album. 7/10
