Just what I was looking for...good celtic dance music from a range of artists. I'm rarely disappointed with Narada collections and this was no exception. I've always found this label to be a good introduction to artists I might not be familiar with. I don't have a vast Celt collection, so "Dance of the Celts' fit my needs.

Windham Hill Sampler '94

I've been a huge fan of Windham Hill recordings over the years, especially of their excellent samplers. While most were woefully short (owing in part to some simultaneous releases on vinyl LPs in the '80s), those released into the mid-90s had a much better value quotient to them (I had always felt they overpriced the samplers).

This is, in my humble opinion, the best. It's not that the artists are significantly different than many other Windham Hill sampler CDs - you get the usual assortment of Oystein Sevag, Alex de Grassi, et al. - it's the music that's better, more refined, and ultimately, more representative of those artists' most mature and honed works. Christmas Eve

This is a lovely piece of Christmas music. It's all piano -- very soft, almost somber interpretations of Christmas standards plus a couple of originals. I've told friends that if one could hear snow as it fell to the ground, this music is how it would sound. Christmas Eve is a Christmas lullaby.

This is an excellent set of CD's to relax your dogs. Actually, I find it very relaxing, as well. As a groomer I do what I can to keep my clients comfortable during their time with me. For the vast majority of these dogs, this music does the trick. I would recommend it without reservation.

Well, I've put it off for too long and I'm finally stealing the time to give my two cents' worth. I've had this collection for quite some time, and it is just lovely! It is perfect for relaxing and massage, or just to melt your cares away. Bradley Joseph's "Stray" is probably my favorite out of all, but they are all great and wonderful artists! I'd like to hear more of all of them!

I first bought Passage as a vinyl recording back in 1981. I fell in love it and played it so much I ruined the record. :-( I then bought the cassette, which, again, I played until it was no longer playable. I never bought the CD- until now. (Sticker shock!!) but well worth it. It is the most beautiful, sad, sweet, emotional music I've ever heard that was not written by a classical artist. If I could, I would give it 10 stars. Just put it on, light a fire in your fireplace, get a glass of wine, and let your mind create all kinds of wonderful stories.....

I personally listened to Manuel Barrueco playing life some years ago. I am very impressed with his guitar techniques - he is just as good as John Williams. I don't think I'll need to explain who Astor Piazzolla is?
