I bought this CD from Singapore ex-music shop called Roxy at funan centre and I find that some of the music are hard to listen but there are some which are quite easy going to listen afterall. The interesting music works that I bought from Roxy which I prefered are Wake of the dream - David Arkkenstone, spirit of olympia - David arkenstone, David Lanz and Kostia, Mil Amores - Dough Cameron, New Land - bernardo Rubaja, Island - David Arkenstone, Andrew White and in the garden - Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel. Recommended to those whom are interested in this genre of music. The started to buy from Roxy duing 1992 when internet has not started yet where this shop go by music testing and recommendation to purchase these msuic of your choice.

I was talking to a friend about Flamenco guitarists and he recommended this artist. I ordered a CD by him and was totally satisfied with the quality of work. I will buy more of his music.

Watching My Life Go By

Hedges was a world class acoustic guitarist...but you'd never know it from this album. His biggest "hit" (a cover of "All Along the Watchtower") is on here...but even that's not as good as it's hyped. The lyrics are fine, but on top of the substandard vocals is the demo quality production (I seem to remember "recorded in his living room" from the liner notes?). To top it all off, the electric guitar parts sound terrible and out of place on this album.

It is unfortunate that the person who wrote the previous review had so much trouble with receiving a purchase in time. I must assert that the problem most likely lay in the delivery company, postal or otherwise.

I have been an Amazon customer for nearly ten years and have NEVER had a single problem with Amazon.com. I may have had an occasional problem with a third party shipper or the lousy US Postal Service (or lack thereof), but Amazon has ALWAYS been extremely professional, timely, precise and honest in there many, many dealings with me and my account. I trust them completely and look forward to continued excellent service from Amazon. And no, I am not an employee or stockholder in Amazon. As for Dowland's music, it is precious.

Hold Me to This: Christopher O'Riley Plays Radiohead

I don't believe you need to be ga-ga over Radiohead to enjoy this CD. This CD, it's all piano (w/o vocals) if you didn't already know that going in, will provide an even deeper appreciation of the textures & depth of the Radiohead catalog. Mr. O'Riley does takes some artistic liberties with the songs, albeit minor, but in so doing he unleashes the potential they all have. And this potential is truly staggering---some selections are nothing short of gorgeous.
Hold me to this: you WILL be floored by this CD. it's well worth the purchase.

Like all Will Ackerman's recordings, this one is four-oh! Soothing, ethereal guitar rythms and melodies. I listen to these in the evening after a hard day and doing so really helps take the edge off.

Well, I've put it off for too long and I'm finally stealing the time to give my two cents' worth. I've had this collection for quite some time, and it is just lovely! It is perfect for relaxing and massage, or just to melt your cares away. Bradley Joseph's "Stray" is probably my favorite out of all, but they are all great and wonderful artists! I'd like to hear more of all of them!

This is an excellent set of CD's to relax your dogs. Actually, I find it very relaxing, as well. As a groomer I do what I can to keep my clients comfortable during their time with me. For the vast majority of these dogs, this music does the trick. I would recommend it without reservation.

Merry Mancini Christmas

This 1966 album by HENRY MANCINI - A MERRY MANCINI CHRISTMAS, is an album of beautiful, orchestra music or jazzy/big band music with some great chorus singing.

Being a Henry mancini album, though, the music is sometimes laid back for a great deal of it. The orchestra doesn't jump out at you song after song like PERCY FAITH'S - CHRISTMAS IS orchestra/chorus album FROM 1966 does. Rather, it sometimes seems to provide more of an almost (yet very beautiful) small band/jazz combo backing up a chorus of singers.

Songs like THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY, the medley of JINGLE BELLS and SLEIGHRIDE, and the medley of FROSTY THE SNOWMAN and RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER are typical of this wonderful small band combo style. However, THE LITTLE DRUMMER BOY has ... Read More:

I got really disappointed to see how many good reviews this product had, and how it turned to be a conventional class of the modes.
All the material of the curse can be written down in one sheet of paper, as it is the whole manual that it comes with. The rest which is the whole video training, is just a show of how an experimented guitarist cam play the modes, and make phrases out of it with out letting you know a clue of those applications.

I Think that if you want to buy a training, you need more than a "Teacher" demostrating how much better he can do what you yet can't.

Check out other material before you buy.
