I love Harry Chapin and this is a great album, but be warned that this CD version is not the full album. It's missing two cuts: Love is Just Another Word, and She is Always Seventeen. I bought this to replace a cassette tape I have had forever and noticed that the number of tracks didn't match. Then I noticed a disclaimer in very small print that these two songs weren't included "due to time restrictions." Personally, I think this is a bit of a ripoff. To make matters even worse, neither of those songs is available as an MP3 download.

This was the first Buffett album I heard and it remains my favorite - he is a troubador in the finest sense of the word, traveling the country and telling our stories through music and song. Anyone with a sense of humor and an appreciation for the ridiculous things in life will love this album and this artist! Parrotheads rule!

Well, if you don't have this do yourself a favour and buy it. The package is great with great photos from the show.
As for Dylan, he is in high spirits and most possibly stoned out of his mind as he laughs, shares jokes, forgets lyrics...
He is also delivering all songs passionately making this one concert a very special indeed. A mere three months later he was recording Bringing It All Back Home and by doing so he was also a new Dylan.

Though I like the Indigo Girls this was the first piece of their music I actually purchased. I LOVE IT!
This collection is such a nice compilation. There is a fine mixture of music - what is standard throughout is their perfect harmony....and those sometimes haunting, sometimes poignant lyrics.

If you like Neil, this is one of his best, hands down. Star Wars roadies, huge speaker setups, classic songs both acoustic and electric. Probably the pinnacle of Rock & Roll. Buy this immediately if your a Neil fan. 5 STARS!!

So Jackson, who was clearly listening to a lot of Bob Dylan records at the time, decided he wanted to be like a certain critically acclaimed, commercially successful living legend/cynical street poet with a really bad voice - only with a considerably better voice (technically speaking, anyway) and soft-rock instrumentation. Really, he only blew it on one count. Too bad that count was he didn't have the talent of Dylan's elbow. He tackles weighty topics - depression, suicide, drug addiction, apocalypse - but he doesn't say anything too revealing about any of them, and we wind up with several spare piano and acoustic guitar ballads that are lifeless and unoriginal, if earnest ("For Adam", "My Opening Farewell", "A Child in These Hills", et al). But he doe nail a couple of ... Read More:

This is a good album, but it pales in comparison to "Music From Big Pink" or the self-titled "The Band".
The sound represents a slightly darker side of The Band's career than the period of the first two albums. It is melodic, and musically well-done. But, it is dark (for The Band) and pessimistic. The sound is metallic-tinged and sharp. The words are certainly not jovial, and you can hear a distraught, hurt tone in many of the vocals. At the most peppy and spunky moments, its aura is at best ambivalent. This is not to knock this album, again I repeat, it is good musically. Just don't try to cheer yourself up with it.
The best tracks in my opinion are Strawberry Wine, Time To Kill, The Shape I'm In, The W.S. Walcott Medicine Show, and Stage Fright.

As a lifelong Judas Priest fan, l borrowed this album from someone who owned it to hear the original version of the title track. Judas Priest did a memorable version of this on their ''Unleashed ln The East (Live ln Japan)'', as well as an unplugged version on their reunion tour a couple of years ago. WH0A!!! This low key, folksy version kicks Judas Priest's hard and heavy, full octane version's butt. You can picture the gray overcast afternoon in Washington Square in Joan's version.
The rest of the album needs some getting used to, but l can listen to ''Diamonds And Rust'' over and over again on repeat for hours.
