This CD was a big disappointment. I was hoping for the REAL renditions for my child's birthday party, and BOY, while these are the real words, and sung in tune by adults, they are not the songs I remember listening to. (At least they are sung in tune, although there is not a drop of passion in it.)

Perhaps I can get my money's worth out by hanging it outside to scare the crows away.

I also grew up watching this movie and listening to the Chipmunks. I now have a 2 year old daughter, and it appears that she loves it just as much! She has regularly requested to watch this, and she loves dancing to the music! As a matter of fact, the past few days she has watched it at least 3 times a day, and I don't mind at all. It's so fun!

I had a casette tape that we wore out with the kids. My husband got very protective of it...so, I purchased a new CD and gave it to him for Christmas.

He loved it (was his favorite). Am not sure it reminded him of the sleepless nights when our children were babies or he just likes the music (which is very good - not jarring at all).

Sure to be a favorite with parents and babies alike.

I started playing this CD before my baby was born. I play it on car rides and at bed time. He likes it alot. I think it has enhanced his recognition of music and instruments over time. He recognize some of the songs when he watches "Little Einsteins".

Excellent selection of (crossover) classical music. I did not realize how much classical music I knew until I listened to this.

I fell in love with Raffi's music when my oldest child was a newborn. That was eleven years ago. All three of my children have listened to him over the years and they're just crazy about songs like "Baby Beluga," "Apples and Bananas," and more. He has such a great connection with children. The songs are all original and catchy. A great album for children!

My kids LOVE this CD! My heart just swells with joy when I look into my rearview mirror and see my 4 yr old & 2 yr old both boppin' their heads, swaying side-to-side in their carseats, and singin' along with the Thomas CD! Yes, it drives me crazy when at anytime during the day (or night), I find myself humming or singing any one of the 13 tracks on this CD....but as any Mom can attest, this period of our lives will pass oh-so-quickly, and we'll move onto something else! I think the CD is an extremely professional and well-made production of songs. The songs are happy & upbeat, and I just love to listen to the British accents of the children who sing on this CD. We have ordered the first set of CD & DVD of Mommy & Me which we got with all kinds of props in a backpack set, and the kids (2 girls) 18 mo. & 3 have had so much fun performing and signing that we just had to get the Mommy & Me more set... the same wonderful fun is being had. I would differently recommend this to anyone with kids. Just about any age through grade should enjoy it, boy or girl.
