I grew up on Sesame Street and to this day love the music - or so I thought until I bought this CD for my 8 month old son. This collection of songs is definitely no where near the best Sesame Street has to offer. Most of the songs of sickly sweet and hard to listen to. Neither my son nor I enjoy this CD, and it's terribly disappointing because I really think the world of Sesame Street. I intend to buy another from the Sesame Street collection, but this time a CD with songs I recognize the names of.

These are the same songs I sang with my now 30 year old daughter and her son loves them too. "Pat Pat Patty Pat" is great for a 10 month old and older to try the motions and develop coordination.

"A Celebration of Me, Grover!", what an apt title for this excellent album, it truly is a celebration in it's purest and most joyous form. It is so rare that a piece of music can so move and inspire me. After listening to it I was (and remain, to some extent) absolutely and completely blown away. Before I analyze the album, let me provide a bit of history and context for this release and artist.
