I can't espress how much I love this CD! The Feng Shui tips are so easy to understand and impliment and the music is great. I highly reccomend it to anyone who has even thought about getting into Feng Shui.

From start to finish, you will go into a relaxed alpha-theta brainwave state, drift-off, and wake up refreshed, clearer-headed, and in better spirits. I own several of his, as well as other meditation and ambient space music....this is among my favorites.

First of all. I think that Halpern is awesome! I love what he does; so I thought I would see what he would be about in terms of a collaborative kinda thing. OHMIGOD!I know some of you are going to want to hunt me down and shoot me for saying this, but to me this sounds like Kenny G on a good day (i'll give him that much).What is up with Paul McCandless? He seems to have MASTERED the smooth, fill up all of the spaces, twinkly dink horn sound. I picked this up thinking, "WOW, two people I really like playing together!--This should be amazing.Not...The worst part is that I did indeed hear some Oregon-Like, Very good horn riffs, yes, some real nice drum and also bass grooves...almost got me. I expected to hear music that would help me stay focused and concentrate while reading (as the other reviews state will happen) but I didn't notice much difference, and some of the titles were hard to listen to - annoying actually. Definitely not the resource I'd hoped it would be after reading the other reviews.

I bought this cd because after a full 10 hour day of work as a customer service representative my mind is gone. I feel so stressed after the day is over and I need something to help me unwind. When I am ready to go to sleep I pop this cd into my surround sound system and let it play. As you listen it is like drifting into an angelic cloud of beauty. I fall alseep everytime. I know some people have complained about the type of sounds on it but to be fair it is called Ambient music. If you are not familiar to this type of music. Ambient is very subtle sounds with minimalistic changes in chords. It is meant as background music and is not very melodic. Ok, I am not a smoker. Honest. My mother has been a smoker for the past 25-30 years of her life. She has made it known that she wants to quit, she doesnt want to spend so much money every year on this bad habit. She tried the patch and all the other devices and decided not to try Zyban because it is a form of anti-depressants. Who wants to be put on anti-depressants when they arent depressed in the first place? I seriously question the validity of medical science many times, especially in this scenario.

I was surprised by this cd. It really seems to have an uplifting effect on the listener. The performances are energizing and beautiful. I highly recommend this gem. Perhaps, if more people listened to this type of this music the world would be a less chaotic and entangled ball of yarn.
