Well, its not nearly as good as Until We Felt Red, and there are some really weak tracks like Pull Me Out Alive, which is really dumbed down and has a very simple structure, almost sounds like Tegan and Sarah or something. The music seems to lack the creativity of her previous efforts, and many of the instrumental songs sound underdeveloped, as in they come off as sections of a larger work that doesn't quite complete. The guitar work isn't nearly as interesting as her other records, with the exception of Air and Kilometers.
But that being said, its still not a horrible album, and it does grow on you a bit, so its worth a download. The best tracks are, Saving Days in a Frozen Head, and Air and Kilometers.

I like this album for the most part, I own every recording by LZ (except some rare imports), including DVD versions and DVD-A (5.1). The second disc is recorded with reasonably good sound for that period. The first disc is MONO not stereo, which ruins it for me. Still a good purchase for any true Zepp fan.

Zach hill makes great music and he is a nice guy. If you enjoy his other work then you will not be disappointed. Buy this album_ don't steal it.

A friend of mine asked me to sell some used CD's for her on Ebay, and this was one of them. I decided (for some reason) to give it a listen as I was headed out the door one Sunday afternoon. My attitude was "Let me hear how much this sucks". After all, Jimmy Page, Black Crowes...yeah OK this is gonna suck like a vacuum cleaner.
I came home, called my friend and asked if I could keep this one for myself. Yes, it's that good. Simply put the energy of this performance via the Black Crowes is amazing, and then you add Page to the mix and you have one hot band. I would have bet that no way could this band measure up to Led Zeppelin, but they come mighty close for my money.
Another point is the sound...it literally jumps out ... Read More:

When it comes to Van Halen, I might be in the minority in terms of how I became a fan of this group. Prior to Sammy Hagar joining the band for 1986's "5150" album, I really had little interest in Van Halen. In fact, I never really was a fan for David Lee Roth - as I had thought him as a clown more than a musician. I had felt that Hagar had always brought a high-level of musicianship to the band. When I saw Van Halen in 2004 with Hagar, I confirmed my feelings about Hagar being the real deal. However seeing the band in 2004 gave me a whole new appreciation for the other members of the band - Michael Anthony, Eddie Van Halen, and Alex Van Halen. In fact, Alex's drumming really blew me away. Because I was so impressed with the band, I felt I owed ... Read More:

This product right here is a two-disc set featuring both david lee roth and sammy hagar songs, none with gary cherone. In my mind, the first disc should be david lee roth songs, and the 2nd disc is sammy hagar. But instead one song is david and the next is sammy. It is by no means a crappy album. It just ruins it when i am listening to david lee roth singing Jump and then the next track comes and it's sammy singing. Also, I should say that there are three new tracks on this, Sammy, Eddie and Alex play on it but no michael anthony

Monster hotdoggin guitar god riffs. Sammy Hagar in his early 20's. Not a dud track in the bunch. This album is a blueprint for many, many following bands, specifically Van Halen. I can't believe you don't already own this album, and you say you like rocknroll. I'll wait here until you order it.

Released in 1976, Led Zeppelin's 7th album has always been unfairly overlooked by fans and critics who'd expected another epic along the lines of their previous album "Physical Graffiti". And were seemingly disappointed by the even stranger than normal artwork (what was that black thing anyway?) and just seven songs. It was if the band had taken a "ho-hum" approach to their albums. They knew ANYTHING they released was guaranteed to sell a million copies in its first week. Seven songs? Who did they think they were, Steely Dan? Add to this the rise of punk rockers in England who regarded Zeppelin as boring old farts whose demise couldn't come fast enough. Relations within the band were tense as well. Robert Plant had been in a near fatal car wreck in Greece and ... Read More:

I bought this album a couple of years ago, and I believe it is the greatest Southern Rock album out there. Lots of jamming from guitarist Dickie Betts. Ramblin Man is one of my favorite songs ever made (along with Stairway to Heaven, Echoes, Strange Magic, and Love Reign O'er Me). I highly recommend this album to any Southern Rock Fan.
