Alright, so you've probably heard a lot about this album and this band but I think this album and the band deserve so much credit. If you haven't really listened to anything off this album yet, I'm going to convince you to. Read on.
This amazing album has two disks: Jupiter and Mars; both fantastic. Its sound is way different than previous RHCP albums but still keeps they're original style and flair. With crazy bass lines from bassist Flea and funky guitar rifts from guitarist John Frusciante, this album is packed with creativity and has something for everyone. Drums are always great too when you got Chad Smith on them; one of the few guys in rock music these days that keeps a smile on his face.

Styx released their first A&M years collection 'Greatest Hits' in 1995. This is their second overall collection, with their first being 1975's Wooden Nickel Records 'Best of Styx.'
But this remains the most comprehensive collection of Styx on the market. All of the band's radio hits are here, and it also includes some popular album tracks and fan favorites as well. This collection spans Styx's A&M years, 1975-1995, a 20-year period.
Here is the album by album review.
Tracks from Equinox (1975):
'Lorelei,' 'Suite Madame Blue'
Review: I like what's represented. Obviously they would put 'Lorelei' here, because that was the radio hit here. But, I'm just a tad disappointed that we don't have 'Light Up' ... Read More:

This is a really great album for an even better cause. My personal favorite is the opening track "Hide and Seek 2" by Imogen Heap. I've listened to it a half dozen times already and it gives me goosebumps every time. The Alanis Morissette, John Mayer, Garbage, and Duncan Sheik songs are also standouts.

That voice! It makes me think of some of the best, most soulful singers ever. Otis redding. Bobby Womack. Van Morrison. Not because Ray sounds like any of them, but because his voice just has that very special, warm sound that touches your soul. And he's a damn fine songwriter, too. Trouble, Shelter, All The Wild Horses, and my favorite - Jolene - are wonderful. This wasn't just a promising debut album, when it was released, it was a very convincing one: Ray got it right the first time around.

A caveat - the 5 stars are for the music. 4 for pressing!
Re: Pet Sounds and OK Computer Capitol vinyl reissues:
These are better than the abysmal (imo based on disraeli gears and tea for the tillerman) "back to black" reissues.
both the capitol reissue of ok computer and of pet sounds that i bought today are dead quiet and neither suffer from obvious digitalis. they do not sound as if they were recorded using the cd as the source, which many people have felt about the b to b pressings.
the lead vocal on pet sounds is a tiny bit on the bright side (though it may simply be more revealing of whats there - and my system is extremely revealing and cuts no slack in this direction), but it's not brittle like ... Read More:

here it is all steves best in one small package.until now if you wanted his hits you'd have to buy multiple collections, but its has finally been put into one great cd everything from 1968 to 2003.sure their are a couple of fan favorites left off including "true fine love" which is a glaring omission, but nonetheless if you only want one cd from the steve miller band you cant do better.

I have heard all the songs on Insomniac and Dookie and loved them. When I got this I was expecting kind of the same music but got totaly different and I like it.They kinda got away from their punk roots but that's fine by me.I love all the songs on here. The only song that I could live without was Rock and Roll Girlfriend segment on Homecoming. My personal favorite song on the album was either Holiday or Saint Jimmy. The lyrics are sometimes hard to understand because of his accent but you can always go on google to see what they are.The guitar, drum, and backup singers all are very talented and do a fantastic job.Recommended to any Green Day fan.
