Going Where the Lonely Go,I wouln't even attempt to count the many times I've spun this record when it was first released.I may have worn it out. So,I recently bought this cd,in which also includes another Epic album Thats the Way Love Goes, not a great Merle Haggard record but seems to blend in well enough with WHERE THE LONELY GO.Good reason's why I purchased this cd,number one this is Haggards best on Epic, also remastered, number two,Going Where the Lonely Go has a certain, distinctive sound that only Merle can project,an image of the man himself.Listen to the lyrics of the title song,or Why Am I Drinkin',Wont Give Up My Train,my favorite Haggard composition on here,Take me for Granted,a classic Haggard ballad.Thats the Way Love Goes,a classic ... Years ago our daughter gave us this CD for our anniversary with her comment that the song "Look At Us" reminds her of us. What an inspiration that song has become for us! And somehow in several moves we lost our copy -- so this is a precious replacement and we're delighted to have found it.

Not my first CD and seems to be better than anything previously I listened to. When Gurf Morlix lends his name to anything there'll be certainly diamonds to enjoy.

This is a three disc collection of Buck Owens' best material. It features nearly all of Buck's major hits, with the peculiar exception of the Number One hit "Where Does the Good Times Go". Besides the hits, a number of great non-hits are also included, This is great stuff, which I highly recommend.

If you are any type of fan of George Jones, this CD is a must. This CD has his early songs and also has his best songs, "Just a Girl I Used to Know", Window Up Above" She Thinks I Still Care" just to name my top three favorites. George's style and the songs he sings makes him one of a kind. Most of the classic Country songs from days gone by, one knew who the artists were the moment they begin to sing or with just a few notes you knew what song it was going to play. Again, this CD is Ultra Country Gold George Jones. I highly recommend this Classic CD !
