This album is awesome! I love to listen to her songs! Of course the title track, "Put Your Arms Around Me", "Happy", and "Freckles" are my faves. If you're looking for carefree, feel good music, this is a must have.

This album caught me off guard at first. I did not know how to react to it, as I was hoping for somewhat of a mix between "Break the Cycle" and the last two albums. However, after listening to it a handful of times, I have found myself truly loving this album. It is difficult to realize that different is not always a bad thing. Aaron Lewis is still the best lead man out there in my book, and always will be. So everyone just calm down and rate this CD on its own merit. If you stop comparing it to their previous work and just take it for what it is, then the ratings would go up. This is not 1999 anymore, so let's move on and enjoy the new music Staind has made.
Also, if I am not mistaken, this is the last record they will make with ... Read More:

What happened here?? Every song is very sober and mellow.....nothing wrong with that, but what happened to John's ROCK !!?? And his incredibly brilliant fiddle player missing!!???? No way!!!!! I grew up in Bloomington, Indiana with this incredible artist!!! I expect more!!!!

Listen, I actually had a friend give me a free copy of the album and I am STILL Buying my own copy just to support this young lady! This is one of the best albums I have purchased in a long time! Listening to Adele's album makes you so upset with commercial radio! People complain that they want to hear better music and here it is! There are talented individuals out there, however we only hear the same 10 songs on the radio! I encourage anyone reading this review questioning whether or not they should buy the album TO BUY IT!!! I am actually offended that the price is set so low at $9.99! It should be higher!! I pray that she comes to Chicago for a concert! I know I am rambling now but I even searched her out on YouTube, Myspace, Adele.TV and she sounds just as good ... Read More:

This doesn't strike me as a "Greatest Hits" exactly, but is a good studio collection for a great sale price. All in all, it has a nice mellow quality about it, but if you're looking for something with more "adrenaline", go for the live recordings of the "Nine Tonight" cd.

The Miles Davis and Gil Evans: Complete Columbia Studio Recordings box set is a treasure trove for those who must have every recording. Less serious fans may want to start with less expensive issues of the individual albums.
Miles Davis has many box sets devoted to him, and this one is by far the most unique. After purchasing several of the Miles Davis box sets that have been re-released by Columbia, I have to say that I am very pleased. Eventually I will get them all, but my love of Gil Evans in addition to Miles is what made me pull the trigger on this set.
For starters, what comes through this set even with a casual listen is the incredible influence that Gil had on the arrangements and approach taken during their greatest collaborations. ... Read More:

SAVE A HORSE, RIDE ME! Dancin for groceries makes me cry, he knows middle america better than anyone else. I get so hot when he sings about the real working man "In a blue-collar shirt and a baseball cap union made
He's hot, sweat drops". Cant wat till he comes back to town!!!!!!!!
I loved every single slipknot album to come out, even the "sophomore slump" as many called IOWA to be. So I heard the Psychosocial single and could not possibly wait for Slipknot to put some energy back into the metal of day that has gone soft and emo. God, I was so wrong. You'll probably love this album if you're a stone sour fan, but I do not like them, and this could easily have been a stone sour album and I wouldn't have known the difference. Like I said, they tried to fool the maggots with a couple of heavy tracks in the begenning, but you'll go..."huh?" as they continue to give soft lyrics to a hardcore band. Dont even bother listening to track 12 unless you want to hear how bad Slipknot can be.
I hope they don't go out with this album. Guess ... Read More:
