This is one of the worst tehcno comps that I have ever heard. I understand that this is old school, but this isn't what old school techno is about. This was commerical released garbage that never made its way into the underground circuit, but made its way onto commerical techno comps such as this and radikal records was a horrid label back in the day. If you are looking for some great old school comps, and looking to hear some great classic techno, then try Tressor Records early comps, Moonshines Speed Limit series (for classic Happy Hardcore and Drum and Bass) or Adrelin Records early comps for some great hardcore. This is old "rave" music. It's pretty good. It is NOT what people today will hear at a club or rave (is there still a difference these days?) but instead a segment of the evolutionary process trance, techno and hardcore has gone through.

If you are specifically looking for this piece of "old school" rave, non-commercial electronic dance music of the 90's, then this is for you!

The album moved me so much, that I started learning about DJ'ing and am now DJ'ing raves and trance clubs. Age of Love is the most beautiful song I have ever heard, but the entire album is excellent.

I have never understood the fascination with this track, probably about my fifth favorite on the s/t album. Still, I can understand some club-headed obsessors who must have it for old times sake. However, one has to be rather frivolous even to consider buying THIS album. Don't let the "maxi"-ness of the single fool you. On the album "Rare: The Collected b-sides" there is an entire remix disc (about ten tracks, including every version on this album) included as a BONUS. Kill two birds--er um, no, Mr. Hall would not condone that--with one stone and buy the other, unless this has some particularly good cover art or something.
