Of course, that really doesn't mean much for ATCQ, since this album is still miles ahead from the boring gangster rap and miles times ten ahead of third rate try-too-hard rap artists like jay-z and kanye west these days (let's not even mention crunk and snap audio).
While the style isn't as intriguing as (especially) People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm or The Low End Theory, it's more darker sound is welcome. The first three albums offer something different for each listen. Quest proves that they can create a mood with the music, which is what all hip-hop albums should offer regarding (The Low End Theory's mood to me represents the need to just bring it no-nonsense. Some have more than others, but it's got ... Read More:

This was my second PE album, I only knew 2 tracks from the cd. I bought this cd just because of the name op PE, and what a buy!
The Public Enemy style is unique. Chuck D with his raw voice and Flav with his more higher voice and light sense of humour, those two make a unique combination. Terminator X also makes the tracks immortal by mixing the beats with great samples and sort of solos in the chorus(like the drums in "Revolutionary Generation"). What also makes them unique is the "odd" tracks they make like the song "Pollywanacraka". A nice beat with a voice that actually seems to speak, but still telling the story in style. This cd contains also a pair of awesome pieces of rap history tracks like Fight the Power, Power to the People, ... Read More:

I love this DVD. I love Jay-Z as an artist. His style and skills are so impressive. The Black Album was a great album within itself. Just seeing his creativity and the creativity of the other artsts involved was incredible. The concert was amazing and getting a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the concert and album was truly awesome!

Out of the five original albums, the golden years, this stands as being their second worst. It's got plenty of cool tracks, but some of the tracks aren't great either. There isn't many horrible songs on this album besides Sabatoge (which sucks), but songs like Do It, The Scoop (?), Ricky's Theme, these songs just aren't up to snuff, and forgettable. I won't waste your time explaining ever single ________ detail or how they changed their sound They definitely, however, added more though, they tried new things and made plenty of cool experiments and new styles. Just trust me on that one. Track listing time (______!).
1.Sure Shot-They don't fail with this one. Great flute sample, and the beat is great and heavy.
2.Tough Guy-Nice break, ... Read More:

There is really nothing I can say bad about this album. But I'll tell you what I found good. His lyrics are packed with introspective self examination and religious imagery galore. There is a lot to not be listened too but HEARD on this album. His delivery is calm and smooth almost like he's just having a casual discussion telling you what he believes. Also he is a very skilled storyteller. But first and foremost Priest is a FIERCE emcee and that is also abundantly shown on the CD. Finally I liked the fact that there is VERY little profanity to be found here.

Adrenaline and Around The Fur may have been good albums, but White Pony is where the Deftones really crawl deeper into their sound, and digging up New Wave musical influences like The Smiths and The Cure. All the while, they manage to stay very heavy, as singer Chino Moreno channels his inner Morrissey and croons heartfully in between his guttural screams.
While songs like "Elite" and "Korea" tread over familiar moshing territory, the band really shines when they go beyond the familiar Nu-Metal sound. "Feiticeira," with its infectious snare work and walls of distortion, is kept melodic by the vocals. Slower, more progressive tracks like "Change," "Rx Queen," and "Digital Bath" are hypnotic, and you can't help but just float with the music.

I first heard this mix only very recently, in a long cab ride, and begged begged the driver to let me buy the disc from him. He refused, but let my friend run into his apartment and upload it into his iTunes. I have since bought the disc, and love it soooo much. It's upbeat, loads of fun, yes, great for cleaning the house to. But really, it brings me back to the days of middle school, going to school dances and buying cassette singles with my friends on the weekends...just being care-free and being a kid. I had been feeling nostalgic for those days lately and this disc captures my youth perfectly!

The end of the ill albums this guy gave us. I believed that he couldn't EVER make a song I didn't like, well, this changed that perspective.
Partz of this album is just stupid. His rebelious lyrics are replaced with jokes and bodily noises, at least his flow and delivery stay good and versatile as usual. But a lot of the hooks, sound intensely forced and strained. He shouldda got good old Dina Rae to sing 'em or Nate Dogg.
I will always love Eminem for the albums, mixtapes, and guest appearances he has done. However, this marked a real turning point in the artist I once listened to religiously. I guess in a way this new "style" if you call it that is original...but then again, I can't imagine any other rapper being serious and doing this. The girl was disappointed ... Read More:
