Like a good number of folks, who had to go through a break-up and listened to "Sleeping Alone" and went, ohh this dude knows what its about!!
but beyond that i listened to the very rawness of the lyrics and how practical they were, think everlast in that aspect delivers the goods on this one, granted that its not as good as whitey ford. But i feel that this album does deserve a good time on the CD player, it will hook you on atleast two numbers, irrespective of which genre you belong to.

Recommend. Good CD overall.

i've purchased all of her albums and i enjoy all of them, but this one is my favorite. this is one you can listen to when you just want to zone everything else out and listen to great music.

Ok heres my 2 cents on the album. I think that this is Techs biggest and best project to date. His production is better then ever, his contect and flow have matured and he has a blend of his older and newew styles. I honeslty think that people that have a low opinon of this album are either 1. "newer" Tech fans...meaning they jumped on after Anghellic or have only heard his features on other albums. Or 2: people that are musicly listen to more rock and pop music then rap. The reason I say this about the 2nd part is because most of the peple that say they dont like it dont like the R&B style of music or the southern style music. Yung Berg has done nothing less on this album but continue to blow me away. This album is one that is full of speacial creativity. One of the things that each and every track possesses is that they are marketable and he still keep his originality in his flow. One thing that this album does is prove that he has something to say. Look what you made me is amazing, creative,what people want to hear, and good music. Counting out issues he has in his personal life, this albums shows true creative direction and longevity.

My review is solely based on 50 cent as an atrist, and nothing else.

This by far could be one of the best gangsta Rap albums ever made to date.

50's ingredients of hate, and hunger in lyrics, delivery and flow blended flawlessly, creating something that will be considered an "all time" favorite amongst millions way after his time.

It's easy for any rap critic to admit this album alone deemed 50 cent the "Elvis" of Gangsta Rap, selling 12 million copies worldwide.

Im willing to bet that there are very few people, as hip hop fans, that have never heard this cd, with that being said, it would be a waste of time for me to review this album on a track by track basis. Overall, this cd is worth its ... Read More:

I have to admit when I first heard this album I was blown away. I still have my same copy with the black disc. I will say that this album is a more commercial version of Reasonable Doubt. Even though it has a more commercial feel to it, its still an excellent album. This was slated to be Jay-Z's last album so I guess he wanted to go out with a bang and The Black Album does just that. It's similar to Reasonable Doubt in that he has some very personal songs on it like December 4th (great song) and Lucifer (a personal favorite of mine). However, it still shows Jay-Z's evolution as a more mainstream rap artist. This could be good or bad depending on what type of hip hop fan you are.
