Pure Disco, Vol. 2 has a lot of great disco tunes and major hits from the golden days of disco! Going to the discothèque meant you could dance your worries away and find glory on the dance floor even when you were down and out in real life. The quality of the sound is excellent and the artwork is very nicely done.

The CD starts with "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. This sounds like a recording she made after she recorded this earlier; but it still sounds pretty good and it's still great music for dancing. Pure Disco has twenty-one great tracks on it that anyone from the days of disco will remember fondly! This is the music people heard in the clubs as they danced their cares away on many a Saturday night. The music on this CD is excellent; and the quality of the sound is also very good. The artwork is great!

The Village People start things off big with their smash disco hit entitled "Y.M.C.A." "Y.M.C.A." has an awesome beat and it just might even make your kids want to dance to it! "Y.M.C.A." is classic disco and a great choice to start off this album. SILK DEGREES is Boz Scaggs' best album ever, and it just got even better, with extra songs and a deluxe remastering treatment that's warm and close, not harsh and shrill. There are many great songs here, especially "Lowdown and the full-tilt R&B-rocker "Lido Shuffle." If you have the old version, get rid of it after buying this CD.

Tina Turner is one of the few living legends! I could probably name just a few living legends of today, Paul McCartney,Michael Jackson,Madonna,Janet Jackson,Little Richard,Smokey Robinson,and last but not definatley not least Tina Turner. She is truly has been icon for the last 4 and 1/2 decades. I have followed her work as far as I can remember. From Proud Mary to A Fool In Love to What's Love Got To Do With It?. She has been there and done that. I wish she would decide to tour again in the U.S. I would love to watch her perform again. Anyway back to the album, this album does contain all of hits of Tina Turner. Ordinary People and Used To Love U are very good, old-fashioned soul songs with a modern twist. Unfortunately there's not much else here that maintain that high quality except for the sublime interlude Let's Get Lifted Again. Now here John Legend & Co. are really onto something special.

Justifiable is the release of this album. Justin Timberlake has stepped into a new direction. Leaving *NSYNC to explore the solo venue has been the right choice.
