Every RHCP album is amazing in one way or another but Blood Sugar Sex Magik is definitely their best. First of all, it's one of those rare albums that you can listen to from start to finish without skipping a single song and after the last song's played, all you want to do is listen to it again. They didn't change their style from the previous albums, they more or less perfected it; yet there are some really beautiful slow songs on the album as well, "I Could have Lied", "Under the Bridge." This album proves the fact that John is one of rock music's best guitar players and also proves how incredibly talented Flea is(the bass line in "Give it away" makes me want to dance every damn time I hear it). A few months ago I read that Swedish pop star Robyn had put out a new album. For those who are old enough to remember her, Robyn had a hit "Show Me Love" a decade ago. Back then I didn't think she had a great of a voice, a decade later I still feel that way. I recently acquired a copy of her new self-released, self-titled album. ROBYN follows in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Madonna with her brand of electro-pop music. Unlike Kylie's new album, ROBYN is lacks the catchy pop hooks and is more like Madonna's HARD CANDY, ROBYN is filled with weak pop vocals and awful song lyrics. I fell in love with Amy at the Mandela concert in June 2008. Had only heard she won several Emmys, never seen her, was unaware of a single title. But she blew me away with her sheer presence. I was pretty close to the stage, but I rate her presence up with some all stars - Santana, Jethro Tull, Bowie, Hendrix and JFK - does that really date me!
She is a great singer. Period. The range of music in her live concert is simply fabulous. The band behind her is equally fabulous and that is her musician recommendation. My recommendation is that I have watched her concert every night for the last 4 nights and I have only owned the DVD that long. I haven't seen the DVD to the end. I think Ne-Yo's second effort is most likely a step back from his first effort . Where so sick, when your mad and sexy love really made me feel his music. I don't think this album was as strong a think because of you,go on girl where his best efforts and his duet with Jennifer Hudson was great the rest is kinda just there I think he needs to move away from only love songs and try some new things as he does'nt appear as versatile as say J.Holiday but he is several notches above Chris Brown I am also feel perhaps Ne-Yo is rushing his product out as soon he will have a 3rd album out he may need to step back as he may risk becoming over exposed . Ne-Yo is a very good vocalist along with a great songwriter but he must build to being a more complete artist .

Simply Red was on Satilite TV and I really enjoyed it. He was performing in Sicily. The music was great and I believe he really loves to perform. It shows. I like it when he gets into the music by dancing to it.
