This is my favorite cd of Rush. I bought this as my first Rush album. The songs of side 2 of album are on this cd. after that, I became a Rush fan after buying all their albums from there on. Enjoy.
Release Date June 11, 2002
This album originally came out in 1979 when I graduated from college. It's wonderful to hear these songs again! Of course, "the Logical Song" was a big hit and brings back lots of memories. Highly recommended.

One could spend a lifetime an never can say enough about the fab four. The second of the series, this has the music that I my mind is the most creative period of the Beatles. To listen to the evolution of "Strawberry Fields" or any of the songs, is to hear how such musical genious is created. However, the song that stands out is the newly discovered "Real Love" which starts the cd. Poignant strains of piano and guitar haunt this melody. More so when you remember that John and George are no longer with us except in our hearts.

This experience is like a broadway show without people. The first time through I lost a little in listening and following the booklet at the same time. BUT, the second time I listened, ALL of the beauty and meaning hit me full force. Give it a try. The musical snippit does not do justice.

Ziggy is simply fantastic. It is a brilliant album.
1: Five Years-The opener is one of the best songs on the album, I love how easy this song is to sing along to
2: Soul Love-Another great song about diferrent types of love.
3: Moonage Daydream- Honestly, I hate this song. Its good, just when I first listened to this song, it was on a youtube video from a live concert in 1973. That version was six mintues long, with a face melting solo by Ronson. ( You can still see the video, type search on youtube for Moonage Daydream, HAMMERSMITH 73)

1) Was it really necessary to release yet another live album? Nope.
2) Can the guys still play their instruments and pull off a semi-decent show even though they must be pushing 60? Yes, though barely - energy levels are clearly different.
3)Can Geddy still deliver the goods? Sadly no - and here for me, is the clincher.
I've been a Rush fan for 30+ years and own EVERYTHING they've ever released. For the sake of completeness, I bought this CD but I have to say that the listening experience is rendered painful when listening to Geddy trying to hit the notes.
I was playing it in my car when a friend, hearing Rush for the first time, remarked "the music's OK but the singer sounds so affected, like he's really struggling''. It breaks my ... Read More:

It's a good, honest record that ROCKS! Much like System of a Down records, you would either love it or hate - no middle ground. At times it does sound like SYstem because it has the same rhythm section as SOAD, but otherwise, it's really nice and refreshing. Buy it and play LOUD!
Release Date October 25, 1990
The review title says it all, I bought this album reluctantly ( cow issues ) but two months later I still keep skipping to it on my Ipod, "Summer of '68" alone is worth the price of the album, buy it already!
Release Date May 20, 1997
I was a major Moody Blues fan back in the era of this release. I owned every one of their albums on vinyl. I saw them in concert around 1970 and they were amazingly good live considering the amount of "studio" they always put into their work. I recently went back and purchased "Threshold" and "Lost Chord". The vocals and arrangements hold up pretty well and these guys were good players. However, some of the lyrics almost seem hokey and hard to take seriously (I really took this stuff seriously as a young kid). The poetic input is almost comical at times, but does help to frame the thematic nature of the album. Personally, I always liked "Threshold" the best with it's airy feel. Top tracks are "Lovely to See You", "Never Comes The Day" and "Are You Sitting Comfortably". I always ... Read More:
