I've had this album for over a year and played it over and over. Took it places with me, and now I find the case is empty. Must have left it somewhere. Checked high and low. May be in a friend's car somewhere. I can't wait any longer, so I'm going to buy it again.

My 20-something son thinks I'm nuts to buy CDs at all, but what can I say . . . at least I've dumped all of my casettes. This is one of those albums you can listen to all the way through, every song, and not want to skip ahead over the three or four you don't like. It's even, thoroughly enjoyable listening music. And every now and again it gets me up dancing.

You won't regret buying this jewel. Can't wait for his new one coming in October.

Eva Cassidy may be the best the world has ever known for the type of singing she did. "What a wonderful world" and "Over the rainbow" are two songs that I could listen to her sing everyday and never get tired of them or her. She is not your average everyday girl with a guitar. I loved Bramble Rose so I was glad to get this new CD and I am not disappointed at all. In fact, I love this CD. Her voice shines on certain tracks, like Another Country and Broken, and delivers solid performances on I Know What I'm Looking for Now and Keep You Happy. Her lyrics have matured with her and are quite often moving and thought provoking. It's a great listen and I play it in the car each day. I don't care much for the french language song, but I'm sure it pays homage to her year in Paris and has a personal meaning for her. The rest of the songs are wonderful.

Traveling Wilburys completes my rock 'n roll collection of CDs. The video DVD included was pure bonus! The songs are all good and it's fun to identify Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty's voices. Traveling Wilburys is a separate playlist on my mp3 player. My only regret is that they didn't record more!

I love everything Melissa Etheridge has ever done. If put out an album of her simply singing the phone book I would buy it and probably love it. Her songs have been the sound track to my coming out and to my first serious relationship and then breakup. On the other hand, Melissa's music as always shied away from one topic which is very important to my life, faith.
in Awakening Melissa blew me away. Not only are these song beautiful and powerful but she also speaks out about issues of love, hate, faith, hope and just life.
This is one of her very best.

Love Sarah Brightman, however, this CD doesn't have one song on it in English. While I enjoy a mixture of her other CDs that are bilingual, this entire CD consists of songs in other languages I don't understand. Very disappointing. Played it thru only once. Probably won't play it again. No speakers on my computer so I can't "test run" these. My own fault, I guess.

I just purchased this CD and abosolutly love it. Every song has it's own unique sound. Patty's voice is wonderful. Most CD's I buy have one or two songs that I can skip over but not this CD. I love every song on it.
