Very good LP.
Each song seems to be a character, along with a great storyline.
Bocelli's vocals are perfection, as usual, and wrapped within the walls of the other instruments, this LP is a perfect thing.
It is NOT necessary to understand the lyrics, the delivery does more than speak to you: It creates a mood that reflects the very love that went into the creation of this LP.
Great job and money well spent.
This LP will effect you on a visceral level, it is pure mood.

Evanescence features a wonderful female singer named Amy Lee. Amy has a very good, deep sounding voice. You won't have the generic female singer that the mainstream is used to. The music in this one has a good amount of variety to it. Sometimes you will hear rock music, electronica, or some weird other sounds. One problem I have with this one though is that Amy Lee sounds the same in most of the sounds. Still, she sounds good, just the same.

The obvious audience for this one is someone who feels weak and wants to rise up. Not in a political way, but in a more emotional way. Soem of the lyrics are based around females more then males, but you can deal with it.

I am obsessed with this albumn, I listen to it every day. The lyrics to each song are really meaningful and the vocals, music, etc. fit it perfectly. If you've heard the single "Fall for You" and enjoyed it, this entire CD is similar to that single. You can also keep it on low at work all day!

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this album yet! Maybe I didn't buy it from amazon, lol! I love this album to pieces. All the way from What This World Needs to Every Man, Slow Fade to all because of Jesus...great just awesome! I had the privilege of seeing this band perform at the Norfolk Scope in Norfolk, VA back last November with my brother and I tell you what..this band cares for souls! I, only being a new christian for a couple of months prior I was on a spirtual high already and this band lifted me up higher! Casting Crowns is one of those exceptional Contemporary Christian Bands that you would feel comfortable having your 6 or 8 year old son or daughter listen to.
