I know I'm a bit behind buying this album now when its been out for a few years, but I own the two newest albums and LOVE them. I have to say that this album did not disappoint me one bit. I think I like it even more than his most recent albums. The songs are so romantic and sexy. If you are a Michael Buble fan and don't have this one yet, do yourself a big favor and buy it!

i was surprized when i bought this cd, this is the first negative review I've ever had to write about a nine inch nails cd.
i have loved all of nine inch nails' instrumentals so i figured it would be awsome.
unfortunetly it wasnt, ghosts is a creative work, but for all intensive purposes, its useless.
i expected a long, flowing, beautiful collection of insturmentals, what ghosts is is 36 compleatly different tracks that flow as smoothly as motor boat on a gravel road.
what the other reviewers said is correct, individualy most of these tracks are unique and enjoyable, but trying to memorize what each different ghost track sounds like and listen to them seporatly is almost not worth the trouble.

It is a good album. Give it a chance. I agree that it is political, and has many different styles, and that it is not her best, BUT since when do we fault people for honesty or uniquity (not sure on the spelling of that one). No one complains if people write a sappy but true love song, so why not a song about the current affairs of our world in an honest fashion.
I say there is more Sheryl in this album than there has been in a long time so be grateful for it...

I couldn't live without the Shamanic Energy of the Beloved Carlos! It's Great to have old and new favorites on one CD. If Into the Night doesn't make every Firey Goddess get up and dance nothing will. Hearing the Game of Love with the mature throatyness of Tina is a nice change.

It's no wonder Elton John is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, a Grammy and Academy Award winner. From "Your Song" and "Tiny Dancer" to "I Want Love"
One of my Favorite live concerts of Elton John's is his benefit for Hillary Clinton for President in 2008 (she ended up receiving more votes than any Presidential primary candidate in history)

I was not a fan of her rarities volume 1 album. However, I am very pleased to have ONE CD with many of her songs that are found on movie soundtracks. This CD is easy to listen too. Sometimes when you listen to a CD it seems that the songs don't flow very well together. For example, her latest Christmas CD. However, this album flows really well despite some of the "different" type songs found on it. It's nice to hear her branch out into different musical styles as well making this CD less monotonous to listen too. I really enjoy "Pills" which I hadn't heard before and I also love the Prayer of St. Francis. Those seem new to me since I haven't heard them. I would have liked to see "What is this love" by Blue Rodeo, or Sad Lisa with Phish on this ... Read More:

This is my 3rd Jack Johnson CD, so I knew it would be good. This has some fun songs that are great for kids, though even those have a lot of clever and humorous lyrics that the adults will appreciate. As with any other Jack Johnson CD, I have a difficult time telling you which tracks are my favorite because it sometimes changes with each listen. Each track is what I've come to expect from this artist, and just like the other CDs, if you aren't crazy about a track the first time through, don't worry. It may end up becoming one of your favorites. Some songs jump out at you immediately and you love them instantly. Some of his songs just need a little more time to grow on you, but you'll probably end up loving them all in the end. Typical outstanding ... Read More:

Is a great record ! No Rolling Stones record could be different! However, I felt a little disapointed when I listen to it because it lacks the force that we normally expect to hear on a live rolling stones record. Mick Jagger voice is very weak, probably because of age, probably it was not his best moment, I can't tell. And the rest of the band also in my opinion sound weak. But if you are a RS fan, you should have it !

When System Of A Down went on hiatus in 2005 (or whenever it was), the members all states that they were going to go off and do their own side projects. Serj Tankian's effort's culminated in Elect The Dead in 2007 and now in 2008 Daron Malakian has Scars On Broadway out. Listening to both of these albums you really get a good idea of who does what in System Of A Down--SOAD had always been a band that was great because it would be constantly torn between complete insanity (Malkian) and very intelligent poetry (Tankian). Granted, Malakian has his share of beautiful, serious songs ("Soldier Side") and Tankian has his own collection of crazy songs ("Vicinity Of Obscenity"), but when you take Serj Tankian out of System of a Down it's now clear that you're ...
