I had this album on tape for almost fifteen years before it finally wore out. Sam Kinison was a comedian and professional performer. I bought the album solely because of his Wild things song - it's hysterical. After listening to that about a hundred times, I finally played the tape from start to finish. Nothing and noone is sacred. Jesus, Charles Manson, starving children - noone is spared. This album is not for children or those who are easily offended. There are a lot of crude sexual references, tons of foul language. Being a huge fan of the legendary performer's, I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you amazon for letting me replace the long gone tape with a new cd!

This album's original title when it was released in 1969 is "THE LAST POETS - Niggers Are Scared of Revolution". Just Like Gil Scott-Heron's "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" Album, these two albums captured the new emotions of the Black community during a time of change. It capture the change in this country for White Women, White folks in the way they think, the Black communities, now known today as African-American communities, across America, and it captures young individuals trying to make a differences within their own community.

Of the 4 Lewis Grizzard recordings that I own, this has to
be the best one. Lewis has a very good description about
Southern Language. Being a Southerner myself, it's real easy
to relate to the point he is making.
This is also the only recording that I have ever heard where
he actually "sings" some of the show.

If you are a fan of Lewis Grizzard and do not own any of his
material, you can not go wrong with this purchase.

I listened to this album before I saw Blue Collar Comedy Tour The Movie, but the thing is, this album is what inspired me to see that! I thought Mr.Foxworthy was pretty good in this, like he is in "THE MUSIC ALBUM" and "GREATEST BITS", so that's why I wanted to see that movie. Some parts are silly AND funny simultaniously and I highly recommend this if you've never heard him before. This was the first cd that introduced me to him. Did I mention in any other material of his, that I've got his autograph? I think I did.

I purchased 2 hypnosis and relaxation CD's through Amazon; "Eliminate TMJ and Teeth Grinding", by Scott Sulak and this one. The TMJ CD was a bust, but this CD was wonderful! I've been struggling with panic attacks and anxiety for 6 months now. After a 9 week bout with Paxil and several attempted "natural" remedies, what seems to work the best (for me) is good old fashioned cognitive therapy and this hypnosis CD. I do occasionally find myself falling asleep throughout this recording, but there is an insert that states you will still be able to subconsciously take in Trevor's suggestions. After 2 weeks, I feel less anxious and like I have some control over my worrying. This CD won't "cure" you overnight and I would suggest cognitive therapy in conjunction ... Read More:

Motivation to Move! Hypnosis Exercise Motivation

I have used the Motivation to Move hypnosis CD for a few weeks now, and am not noticing a change in my behavior. I will admit that I generally fall asleep before it's over, but my understanding is that the message should still get through. I have not been using it at other times of the day (for fear of falling asleep!), so I don't know if it would have a greater effect. At this point I would say it's great if you need to fall asleep, but for me, it doesn't seem to be helping me become more active.
