ok, admittedly, when i was young i loved the shatner star trek. but never would i have even considered listening to, let alone buying, a shatner musical album. to be honest with you, i have forced a couple of my friends to listen to this album. they hated the idea of the cd, but loved the cd once they'd heard it. if you are a fan of ben folds, you will love this album. if you are a fan of an artist who is not afraid to explore deep, and at times painful subjects, you will love this album. if you are a fan of honesty in music, you will love this album.

I have listened to the The Law of Attraction & Ask and It Is Given twice. It is very uplifting and spiritual. I believe it to be true. I am trying to change my thoughts to reflect what Abraham and Ester and speaking about.

It is starting to work.

It's true what many have said about this album, that Cash takes the songs and makes them his own. They don't feel like covers at all, even though the songs are familiar, especially for young people and baby boomers, with songs like "Hurt," "Personal Jesus," and "Bridge Over Troubled Water." I would definitely share this album with those who appreciate Johnny Cash--young and old alike. The songs are haunting and introspective. They seem to convey an underlying awareness of human mortality and vulnerability, yet their power and clarity is derived from this sense. This feeling is what remains with the listener long after the listening.

I bought this four years ago when it was first released and didn't like it. I only listened to it once back then - I think I was expecting another Eden or La Luna. I put this cd in my player last month and fell in love with it. This is my favorite Sarah Brightman cd. I actually love it more than Eden and La Luna (both were extremely good). I own all of her cds, but this one is her best. My favorite tracks are 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 13 and 14. Sarah's voice is so beautiful - she's extremely talented. I'm going to add the DVD to my wish list.

I have read all Maxwells books on leadership. His common sense, straight forward approach makes tremendous sense. As you read his books there is a great deal of overlap, I have never felt 'taken' however as Maxwell's writing is interesting and insightful. If I were picking a coach purely for leadership, John Maxwell would be a great choice.

Anyone familiar with the ancient Greek myths will wonder "Why so skimpy on the details." The myths told here simply don't come to life. The music tries to push some life and excitement in the storytelling, but unfortunately it follows a Wagnerian playbook -not well suited to Greek mythology. All-in-all this is a bland retelling of some really great stories.

Don't be put off by the negative comments judge for yourdelf as I did. I found this by accident looking for some romantic music for my lady and that is exactly what I found. Now I need to see the film. The music conjures up such a feeling, relax listen and enjoy. Imagine moonlight skys, the sea gently lapping along the shoreline,candlelit dinners with the one you love. This will leave you with a warm feeling and if not then you will not know romance. The poetry is warm sensitive and well read, a bonus to the CD.
