Though what is on "Super Hits" is all good stuff, I would suggest another choice. This does have hits like "El Paso" and "Devil Woman" like all collections should, but at just 10 tracks, too much is missing. A better disc is the 20 track "A lifetime of song (1951-82)". Another good one with all his western stuff is "No. 1 Cowboy". That gets you the good stuff from this disc, plus "Big Iron" and "Cool Water", and many more. 20 in all. "All time greatest hits" is good too. Also 20 tracks. After Marty, the other two names you want are Johnny and Willie. Enjoy.

This CD is a rich collection of melodies and images with Keola's resonant vocals taking you on a journey the islands. His ability to sing with such feeling about his love for his home and in the case of "True Hawaiian Ways" his mother is touching. The slack key guitar work is stunning in its complexity and rhythms and you get the feeling he is really having fun with his playing. This is a CD that makes you feel grateful to be alive and in contact with such a talent as Keola.

They sure seem to grow lots of guitar players and singers in Hawaii. None though better than Justin. Many styles are detectable here along with his Hawaiian roots are blended seamlessly into a modern masterpiece. Vocally Justin is the best. As with all of my classic discs, it takes a few spins to begin with, then the disc seems to play as one song. Try one, buy one!
