Raw Greatest Hits is pretty good. It has a lot of my favorite superstars music on there, like Kane, Triple H, Batista. But I think they could have put more songs on there, like Jeff Hardy's old theme, he's my favorite wrestler and I really miss his old theme, personally I think his new theme sucks. But over all it's pretty good. It seemed to focus on the more older people then the newer ones. Other then that it's still pretty good. 4 out of 5 stars!

First off let me say that this is an excellent album that once again shows the immense talent that LL Cool J brings to each and every project. My only complaint is that this is supposed to be the Clean version of his album and it isn't. It's exactly the same as the album that has the "Explicit" warning on it. Obviously the label screwed up but that still doesn't help anyone whose mistakenly bought this as I did thinking it was a Clean version. That's the only reason my review was 2 stars :(

After three flawless albums, KRS ONE decided to make number four. At the time this came out, you'd think he'd run out of idea's, and slip at least a little bit, but "Edutainment" says otherwise. This album is is one of many great examples of how Hip Hop use to be ... a completely different, artistical world. If this album only had the song "Love's Gonna Get'cha" It still would be worth 5 stars. That song alone proves how well KRS can craft, and perfect a story with a lesson, talent, and originality. Aside from that, the whole album is PURE Hip Hop. You also get bangin' licks like "Blackman In Effect" "Edutainment" "The Homeless" "The Kenny Parker Show" "The Racist" and "30 Cops Or More" ... actually the entire album is strong, track to track. You know the first couple songs around you think that they have some pretty good party tunes, then you realise all of their music sounds EXACTLY the same. These guys have no place amongst other hip-hop legends like Pac, Biggie & Nas. If you heard at least 3 of their songs, then you've heard everything that they've made because their style is not diverse at all. The same speedo tempo, the same topics, seriously these guys have like 200 songs about the same thing. Hate if you want I'm speaking the truth.

When discussing the pioneers of rap music, Kurtis Blow often isn't mentioned as often as Grandmaster Flash, The Sugarhill Gang, and Run-DMC. This is unfortunate because he truly is one of the forefathers of hip-hop and unlike Grandmaster Flash and the Sugarhill Gang, he was no one trick pony. Although many music fans may only know him for his now classic track "The Breaks", The Best of Kurtis Blow shows that he had much more to offer.

Nearly everything here is great and still sounds fresh today. Unlike much of the rap music back then and even today, Kurtis Blow, at least for most of his career, created his music with live musicians rather than solely relying on sampling and production.
