...ever since bands like Interpol popped up there have been so many bands that wish to redo the post punk sound that Joy Division generated before passing on (R.I.P Ian Curtis) and of course Editor are not only not an exception to this rule...but they were actually later than the other bands which makes them seem like they're trying to resuscitate a corpse that has already been paraded around the land and then left in a pool of brine.

1. Blatant imitation of Ian Curtis' vocals.

Argybargy

Without doubt, Argybargy was Squeeze's best album. Intelligent, catchy, witty, and most importantly lots of fun. Casual fans need only their Greatest Hits collection, but if you want to delve a little deeper, Argybargy is the one you want.

The obvious dilemma facing any female who fronts an otherwise all-male group is that she can easily be classified as nothing more than eye candy either onstage or on the subsequent CD covers. Such is not the case with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders anymore than it is the case with Debbie Harry of Blondie or Theresa Starr of the Echoes. Back in the 80's, I was a casual Joe Jackson listener but not a dedicated fan. Several months ago, on a whim, I decided to see Joe Jackson live and was blown away by his performance. I immediately purchased the best of album and am both pleased and ashamed. Pleased because of all the great songs on the album and ashamed because I forgot all of the great music Joe Jackson performed over the years. I am now a dedicated Joe Jackson fan. The Best of New Order

This is the first and only New Order album I own and I love it! I don't know what I did without it! If you tend towrds 80's bands like Depeche Mode, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys, you will love this. It is a great intro to New Order. And unless you have been living in a cave it does have easily identifiable hits like Blue Monday and Bizzare Love Triangle. Highly recomended for the euro-new-wave lover, but may not be for the the seasoned New Order fan.
