After reading the other reviews and finally deciding to purchase it, I was not disappointed in the least. It is a fabulous piece of art in sound, a beautiful tapestry of music. The first time I played it, I could feel channeling reiki spontaneously as the music created the right ambient for it to happen. The mind can't track the music so you wont get bored with it, it tends to bypass the thinking mind. Great for Qi Gong and other moving or gentle meditative energy movements. Delicate oriental scent with big dosis of devotional love to the sacredness of the earth in this case Koyasan mountain. Bravo!

Grimm Tales

The album Grimm Tales is another example of how Nox Arcana is able to venture away from traditional Halloween/horror soundscapes (haunted houses/graveyards/castles/bats/cats/vampires, etc.) and create their own unique setting, in this case a fairy tale land. The music is perfect for playing in the background while playing role playing games or during the Halloween season, or just any time. My favorite tracks are The Hollow, Conjuration, Deep In The Woods, Crone's Caverns, and Castle of Nightmares. I recommend this disc highly.

I absolutely love the music on this CD, and I love the DVD. However, the quality of the CD is not good. Song number 8 skips, every time. Disappointing.

I find N.O.W. records to always contain some stellar tracks and some I can't sit through. This is no different. The 3 tracks that lose me are
Be There, Hey Ego and Moretime. The rest is fantastic. Love the reggae!
I've got no trouble recommending this one.

Warning: I do not fit in with the "new age" hippie folk who bought and reviewed this album.

I got this album because I wanted something soothing to fall asleep to - this mission was accomplished, as the music is quite soothing. But, I have listened to several Halpern records and I must say, for how many albums this guy puts out, a lot of them sound the same. Yes, the genre lends itself to repetition, which is part of the soothing aspect he is going for, but cmon. I also don't subscribe to the "energy" bs that a lot of the reviewers claim to feel when listening to it. Feeling "energy" from the music is just a snobby way of saying they liked it. It did not heal you, it did not purify your soul. It sounded good and made you feel better. ok.

This product is all it claims to be. You can feel it resonate in your physical body and aura. If you concentrate hard enough you can feel it actually aligning your chakras. The tones and timing are perfect. It's great for meditation and healing of body, mind, and soul. It makes a great CD for inducing great sleep and dreams and normalizing the energy levels of the body. Dr. Goldman is showing his true masterful skills of the full spectrum of sound with this album.

I don't listen to a lot of "new age" music normally, but this is one of my favorite CDs. I listen to it during my yoga practice, in the car, and even at work. Of all the Deva Premal I've heard, this is by far the best.

Fresh Aire Christmas

We really enjoy a different take on Christmas carols once in a while, and this is certainly right up there with their other Christmas music. A couple of people have told me they like the fact that the carols are so unusual, which is why I love this album!
Being different is their classification, and, they do it well in all their albums. A mixture of old and new sounds with electronic and classical instruments for our enjoyment, they take you to a dreamy area in your mind.
Their music is fun, we've been to their concerts and this just adds to our enjoyment of the season.

Guitar Lullaby

We love this CD. Our baby falls asleep to this CD, nurses to this CD, plays on her playmat with this CD. It is a very nice flowing CD and my husband and I both love to hear the guitar as well. So nice for adults too.
