I bought this CD for my 14 month old grandson. I've been singing "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" to him since the day he was born and introduced him to "Wheels on the Bus" - both on this CD. He loved hearing those familiar songs. My daughter reports that he loves it and so does she! The little voices are genuine, soothing and so sweet!

I loved this C.D. it has all the songs that my Mom and I listened too, my kids didn't like it so much, they only like 1-2 songs on the whole disk, I guess I am starting to get out dated with the new generation, my children are only 4 and almost 6 and I thought they would love all the catchy music, but not so.

This CD has Spanish and English. I love that you get to hear the Spanish part right after the English in many cases. Then they do a word review after each song. The music is fun and happy.

My 4 year old son listens to this CD everynight before going to bed. He has memorized all the songs, including the ones in Zulu. It got him interested in the world map, in Africa, and in various animals like cheetahs and lions. He took note of the boy who turned into a 5-legged cat for picking on and laughing at other people.

He listens intently and sympathetically to the story/song about children who only see their fathers once a year. My son dances with joy, just as one would imagine the children in the stories, would do so upon a happy reunion, or upon receiving a precious dress or some treats that are hard to come by. I too am a "concerned mother who ACTUALLY read the lyrics" (sniff!) and I'm extremely concerned that people who are that offended by such a playful, mild phrase are raising children. Please. Lighten up, or indulge in Barney.

Beautiful, layered work on this cd: a pleasure to listen to, dance to, sing along with. From age 2 to 38 in this house, we're enthralled.

I checked this cd out from the library for my kids (6 1/2 & 3 1/2) and now I am going to purchase a copy for ourselves. Not only did they enjoy it, but I did as well. I initially checked it out for the Teddy Bear's Picnic song, but I was very happy to see that every single track on the record was excellent. Our favorite has become the song about their band and how they sing A-Cappella and their voices are their instruments. I can't say enough good things about this cd and these singers/songs. LOVE IT!

My daughter got this from the hospital for her oldest daughter and it is so great I buy it for every baby shower I go to or give. I love this. We took it on a trip with us and the grandbaby was grumpy, we put it in and she immediatley calmed down and went to sleep.

... Because it is one of the only CDs my children want to listen to over and over -- every day!

My 20 month old has learned to operate the CD player in order to listen to this when she wants to, and my 5 year old son has choreographed songs and memorized lyrics. I can even excuse the presence of Kum Bah Yah on this recording (groan) because of the quality of the other songs. Patah Patah is a family favorite that gets children and adults dancing. I plan to buy extra copies as gifts for other young children in our lives.
