She is the best singer by far in her genre. ADELE is amazingly talented and this album proves it. All her songs from beginning to end will leave you speechless. I love her raspy voice and her lyrics. You will never grow tired of this album, her voice or her lyrics. Her lyrics are catchy, and different from any others out there. My favorite songs are :Best For Last, Right As Rain, Tired, and Cold Shoulder, though I love them all. She is an excellent choice. Purchase this CD! You won't regret it, you will thank me! No No..Thank ADELE...she is wonderful, hear it yourself, it will change your life.

Thanks a ton, Laura :)

This is one of the best CD I have bought in a long time. Pretty much all songs are great (I don't particularly care for a couple of them...). I must say though, if you watch the movie before you listen to the CD, I think you will enjoy the songs even more...
Release Date July 17, 2007
Definitely a fun breezy music, but soon all the songs pretty much sound the same and I wished maybe I just bought the radio hit.

Once more Nas is back with a powerful album. There is solid production on this album even if Primo, Timbo and other producers from his past albums are not on the list of producers on this one. He's lyrics are a little bit more political than before. Nas proves once again that he's one of the best rhyme writers in the game. Since his first album he has progressed a lot and nobody can tell that Nas has delivered a bad album in all his career. Listen to the songs "Black President" which contains a Pac's sample, [...] (The slave and the Master)" and "We're not alone" and you will buy the album without a doubt.
Peace to you Nas. Keep feeding the Game with great songs.

I bought Snack Time by Barenaked Ladies to take on a road trip and we all enjoyed it immensely. My husband and I are longtime fans of the band, so it was a treat to see they've made a children's album. Their song on the first "For the Kids" CD is excellent. It's got a great mix of original songs that both the kids and adults enjoy. My five year old's big winner is Track 3, "Polywog in a Bog." Two big thumbs up. Oh, and I like cheese for a snack.

I was impressed with Hans Zimmer's score for Batman Begins. But I'm even more impressed his score, along with James Newton Howard for The Dark Knight. All the scores in the film are excellent. But the best is "Why So Serious?". That score really is errie and matches for The Joker.
I bought the limited edition CD because it comes with a booklet and 3 two-side cards of Batman, The Joker and Harvey "Two-Face" Dent. If you heard the score in the movie, and love it, get this soundtrack.

There is great energy on this CD. The score is great and the story is totally entertaining. You'll love the music and the singers.

i never considered myself a great fan of David Sanborn, as i just hated that high pitched grating sound of his alto saxophone. but this album has its merits, Sanborn played blues here, which is nice for a change, and the roster of wonderful artists such as Derek Trucks, Eric Clapton, Joss Stone and many more makes this album worth the money. if only Sanborn would make his ax croon and than shout and that in my humble opinion makes a huge difference.

Seriously, stop already with the Radiohead comparisons. This sounds nothing like Radiohead, not Pablo Honey, not The Bends, not ANYTHING EVER by Radiohead. Just because Coldplay's singer tries to sing in a high register like Thom Yorke sings, doesn't necessarily mean the two bands sound alike. Coldplay, for instance, sucks big ones. Radiohead is sort of a brilliant band. There's one difference right there, just for starters.
But whatever, you're not a loser or anything if you like this garbage. Lots of people like garbage even worse than this! So there, feel good knowing that you're not utterly, totally, hopelessly devoid of taste (maybe).
