A thousand reviews? I only can echo the majority. This is simply another masterpiece from the greatest band that ever cut a record. These four were in a class by themselves. The Beatles and then there were all the others. Abbey Road blew everyone away when it came out and still is an experience and not just a set of songs put together for listening to while you run the vacumn cleaner. I always think of some of the assertions that have been made about Shakespeare when I take in the entire catlog of the Beatles. It seems impossible that one small rock combo could come together and create art the way they did the same way that so many people can't imagine one person writing as many classics as Shakespeare did. Trace Adkins won me over totally after seeing him in concert in March.He is a great entertainer and has a wonderful deep voice to listen to. I enjoy variety in my country music and this cd delivers that. He is able to sing the funny sarcastic songs as well as the heart felt ballads. You're Gonna Miss This never fails to bring a tear to my eye and not too many songs do that to me. When you can touch my heart with your music I am a fan for life. Wonderful CD!

Live or studio, John Mayer's music is good stuff. This recording is beautifully mastered. You get live quality without the hiss of the audience. Plus, this is a pretty good deal, two disks for a little more than the price of one.

I've been waiting for an album like this one for years. It was something that I dreamed the Beach Boys would attempt, a concept album about California and their rise to fame. They came close on the great album "Holland" but not close enough for me. Carl, Al and Dennis, I know would have been game for it and they could of recruited Brian easily. Then Dennis and Carl died. The band under the commercial control of Mike Love turned into an oldies machine and even Al left disgusted. Like a Phoenix risen from the ashes Brian not only resurrected and completed Smile but he has followed it up with "That Lucky Old Sun", my old dream realized at last. I'd heard the arguments both for and against "Wicked" (people love it or hate) so thought I'd have a listen. I really enjoyed it. So really great songs (and some fun ones too) as well as great singing. Even as I was listening to it for the first time I wanted to sing along!

I love this cd! My 6 & 3 year old daughters love this cd too! They know all of the words (even if they have no idea what they are, they still belt it out!! One corrects the other & they're both wrong, but no one cares!)

Each singer has a unique sound and we love them all!
It's the only cd we play in the car.

This album was "recommended" to me by Amazon.com presumably based on my history of purchases. Well Amazon, you got it dead wrong. This is 100% country, and if you like that, fine, but if you don't, run don't walk.
