Absolutely 100% true blue gut-wrenching country music. This is what music (should) be all about regardless of the genre. His first album is great, this one is real. Although the styles are polar opposite, this album puts me in mind of the Dixie Chicks, Long way round album. These people aren't just singing about life anymore - their life is in their songs.

Jamey Johnson is an awesome artist, regardless of what he sings, but in this album his songs come to life in a way that no one can deny. Life has grabbed him by the throat and his songs and voice are filtered through the pain and heartache he obviously has been through and this album is the result. Fantastic and cannot be recommended highly enough

I bought the CD as a reaction to the movie "Across the Universe" and because I had heard a few cuts at a friend's house. After the novelty wore off, I realized i had heard it all before. Many of the cuts used tracks from the previously released "Anthologies", so there was really nothing new. It is interesting to listen to another person's opinion on how the wealth of the Beatle's catalogue could be remixed, but it may only make real artistic sense if you also see the Cirque de Solier performance.

A different direction for an Irma Thomas recording. All tracks are either her voice w/ a solo piano or in some cases, piano w/ bass & drums. The result is to truly focus on Irma's magnificent voice & her interaction w/ the various pianists. In most cases, the idea works wonderfully, although in a couple of instances, I'd have liked to hear some fuller accompaniment. The CD definitely makes me want to hear her live again, this time in a small club setting w/ just a pianist and/or trio behind her.

I just received and listened to this album today on my way to school and it is awesome. It includes the hit radio single "Jesus Messiah", but oh, this is just the start! Love with the Children's choir has to be my favorite along with God of This City and All The Way my Savior Leads Me. I like the fact that Chris Tomlin put another hymn arrangement on this record, but I only wish there were more like it in the future! Amazing Grace-My Chains Are Gone was probably his defining song of his life, even though he would attest, it wasn't his song, neither John Newtons. It was God's inspired message. I bought this CD after seeing Buckcherry at Cruefest. Everyone song on this CD is really good. I have had it in my CD player ever since I bought it. I really recommend this to any rock fan.

I am so happy that I purchased this DVD.
My daughter and I were having some "power struggle" issues when it came to using the potty. (This went on for almost 6 months) We tried just about everything, then I came across this DVD. Almost immediately my daughter decided SHE WAS GOING TO USE THE POTTY. We sing the songs, and she demands to watch it at LEAST twice a day. She stays dry all day long and I am quite pleased! She loves the movie and loves her potty!

I bought this for my daughter, after we kept seeing a quick take of it on Disney channel, so I searched for it, and found it on Amazon. My daughter LOVES this dvd & cd.. It keeps her entertained at home & in the car! It was by far money well spent!
