Thanks again Amazon.com once again you came through when I needed you. Actually, I had been somewhat searching for this particular CD for a number of years and it was only after searching through Amazon.com CD Now was I finally able to locate this treasure. This is one of my all time favorate Temtations CDs and I am really glad I was finally able to add it to my collection. I rated this CD 5 stars and stand by each and every one of them.

Berry Gordy, Jr. and Motown were incredibly busy in the sixties. The enormous task of spinning so many plates at one time would be impossible today. From recruiting talent (singers, songwriters, musicians) to recording to all the legal paperwork involved in running a not-so-small business must have weighed heavy. Despite all of this, 1967 was another banner year for recorded output at Motown.

Besides the hits (Jimmy Mack, I Was Made To Love Her, Bernadette, Ain't No Mountain High Enough, I Wish It Would Rain) there are surprising number of non-hits here. Easily one of the best '60's soul albums, its only real competition being I Never Loved a Man. And even if it isn't packed with hits the way Sing Smokey was, it's even better. Some great album tracks here: The Girl's All Right with Me; Just Another Lonely Night; You've Got to Earn It and I'll Be in Trouble are all every bit as good as the two singles (Since I Lost My Baby and Don't Look Back). This is a total classic, and I like (if not love) every song here. Don't even try to go without it.

i'm a long-term dina ross fan & just the discovery of un-released material "tweeks" my ear-drums. however i must say that if you don't care for her enormous talent@ all then you wouldn't like blue which is a nice testament to her adaptations of jazz standards from the sizzling seventies!!!!!

yes this is another collection of Jackson five/Michael Jackson Best of collection but this one includes the big,Big Hits. the ones everybody knows. all the way from childhood through Adulthood. Michael Jackson always had that the Genius in him and his Music is timeless. his vocal instrument is a Worldly Signature that has touched many souls through years, decades and era's.etc.... so many classic songs. a great time of music.

A very good collection of some of the biggest hits of soul. If you are starting from a limited stash, this is a good boost for your collection. However, the depth of catalog is limited mostly by the fact there are only 4 CDs. A 10 CD box set or more would really be required to capture the biggest hits of the era. Overall, a good set.
