wow, this was a killer album, classical spacious music,with serious groove, yes groove. that bass is bone rattling, and the icey cold piano ,cuts like a knife, mix in a bass clarinet with that creepy sound ,you have a winner. i mean they are really cookin. plenty of ear pearcing alto too ,like john surman style. the music is meditative and stirring. so i guess jazz isnt dead .this album fools me into thinking its electric ,but it isnt. only the bass is .i get an est vibe here, but more upbeat, but yet plenty of meloncholy. i just love it.gorgeous.

We were introduced to this series on PBS Sprout. My 14 month old son loves Let's Go, and now, Let's Talk. He is just starting to talk, and he loves music, so this is his favorite video. He is answering Elizabeth right now as I type. I got this one to encourage speech, and already after just one viewing, he is communicating with Miss Elizabeth. I think that this series is actually very sophisticated, although it seems simplistic. The songs are a very easy way to teach things all kids need to learn. I have no doubt it is a wonderful tool for speech delay or autism. I think it is an amazing tool for all children to learn to communicate their needs and feelings. As always Deepak has done an amazing job. If you already know Deepak's work then it's a nice edition to your collection. If you are new to Deepak's work then I think he does a really great job in defining what really gives us long lasting happiness. I have purchsed this video for friends. As I think in our culture we have become too materilistic. And while nice, new things make us happy, they only create temporary happiness. There are better ways to create long lasting happiness. As always Deepak is easy to understand and very inspiring. I reccomend this even if you don't think you need this.

I got this dvd with the hope that it would be something good to share with students to augment class instruction. This dvd does not live up to my expectations. Angi Carlston is talented, clear and articulate, but her talent and teaching abilities are not used well on this dvd. I wish she had stuck with the idea of just covering basic erotic moves for home viewers and not have gone into the specialty and/or advanced moves (which seem out of context without choreography to support these movements). Basically, women who buy dvds of this nature just want to learn basic moves and some short dances to turn on a partner. Women who are able to do advanced moves generally will not buy or need dvds to teach them.

Production is pretty poor; it's just Duke sitting at a poker table with a deck of cards. She's serious about poker and watching her explain poker is never fun. That said, there were more than a few gold nuggets here that have improved my game: slow playing a dry board, physical tells to watch for, how to play against a very aggressive opponent, how to disguise your betting patterns, etc. If you're fairly new to poker, this is a very good purchase. And if you know the game well, you'll still pick up some good info. The portion on tells was very revealing; in fact, when I selected a jury recently for a trial I observed many tells of the potential jurors based on what Duke described on this DVD.
