I bought this DVD on a recommendation. I watched it and it didnn't make a whole lot of sense to me. It is not an interactive program that guides you through the set up of a new TV. Maybe if you are an installer you might get more out of this than I did. I cannot recommend this as being essential to set up a new TV. I found that the settings that others had suggested on product specific web sites were much more helpful and my TV looks great. I did not use this DVD for anything. If you are considering buying it, let me know I'll sell you my copy.

This is easily my go-to soundtrack, it's lifted me out of many a crappy mood and I've listened to it endlessly over the years. It features a variety of songs, classic and contemporary, that are evocative of France and each one is special.

On the classic side you have Ella Fiztgerald and her amazing voice on "I love Paris". There's Louis Armstrong, his rendition of La Vie En Rose is second only to his "Wonderful World" for simple, easy elegance, and the amazing Charles Trenant (who also wrote La Mer) give us Verlain.

On the contemporary side there's Van Morrison, the under-appreciated (in America anyway) Zuchero, and Kevin Kline with his theater background in the Pirates of Penzance and other musicals steps up the ... Read More:

i waited about 5 weeks for this cd (i live in germany, thats why it took so long) but it was damn worth it!!!!

on the first cd are all the original songs from the movie and on the second are the most important songs (e.g. "this is halloween", "whats this") performed by artists like panic at the disco, fall out boy or marilyn manson...

for all who love the movie is this cd a "must-have"!!!!

These video's really work. She is starting the third video now and is using new signs every day.

She tells us when she wants milk, is hungry, thirsty, in pain, needs a diaper change, as well as when she sees animals of all kinds. People are blown away when we demonstrate what she can do.

I just downloaded the entire album yesterday on the strength of these (at the time 27) reviews totaling somewhere in the neighborhood of 4.5 stars and a similar glowing review from pitchfork and I am amazed. Amazed at how little I enjoyed any of the murky, formless cacophonous blobs on this record. I would have given it 2 stars because a couple of tracks, Easier, central and remote perhaps show potential of being good or great songs if they were worked on some more, but I feel it neccessary to bring down the overall rating as much as possible so someone else has less chance of making the same mistake as me. just putting words to music in a certain order does not make a song. the words are very sparse, and get drowned out in the expansive, discordant nothingness ...
