This disk was my introduction to Carlin and I was hooked. Full of classic hilarious lines "Tonight's forecast ... Dark," "Not anymore Monty" and introduced a lot of things our mothers would say. This was way before he became over political in his act and the majority of the material is gut-wrenching belly laugh humor at its best! George is definately the best comic genious of our time!

I have been checking and looking and waiting since Perceptual. In fact Perceptual is always in my rotation. The new CD Season of Changes has allowed Perceptual to rest (briefly). Contrary to it's title Blade and The Fellowship Band have not let up on making an audio experience visual. This groups sound makes you envision a place, a time or a person that you may or may not know. The sound is also atmosphere of intensity. When you hear them play, you feel them, you feel him. Absolutely outstanding from beginning to end and you will not put it down until his next CD (then you'll pick it back up again and again).

If you're only familiar with George Carlin through his aggressive, vitriolic, and occasionally vicious latter-day material, early work like Class Clown may come as something as a surprise. On first listen, the album seems almost mild mannered. Not only is it free of the machine gun profanity that would come to mark the comedian's style, but the material itself is a far cry from the raw cynicism that would inform You Are All Diseased and Brain Droppings: The first track, for example, is an epic recollection of Carlin's schoolboy antics, full of cheeky observations on knuckle cracking, funny voices, and armpit noises. The whole thing captures him in a seemingly friendly, genial mood. Of course, Carlin was never innocent. He always had a dirty mind and a darkly ... Read More:

I have been playing guitar since 1983. For many years, I have been looking for an instructional device that will help me get to another level. Once I got past the firt couple of chapters that did not teach me anything new, the whole rest of it was EXACTLY what I have been looking for. For a beginner, the entire DVD is going to be a must. McCarthy is an excellent guitarist, who plays with a pleasant variety and doesn't sound at all generic. The overall architecture of these lessons has been so well planned, that the end-user is taken on an easy and enjoyable learning path. It's not exactly "the blues," but it IS the BEST instructions for learning rock guitar, which is founded from the blues anyway. Definitely buy this series, it's well worth every penny!

She is the female version of Andrew Dice Clay! I can't remember when I laughed so hard and so much. Lisa Lampanelli is the funniest female comic around. This stand up will be around for decades whenever I or anyone else needs a good, strong, laugh!

Jamie Lidell is one of those artist that broke into a little bit of mainstream by being used in an episode of Grey's Anatomy. His last album Multiply was an absolute piece of art. It evoked the spirit of old time funk, a little motown, and rock and roll. This album is surely focused a little more on Motown. Jim is more polished a lot softer and happier. These songs could have easily been from a past time period. The songs are well written and very well performed. Any fan of Motown would surely fall in love with this album.

This is a must have for anyone that loves comedy and especially Bill Cosby. The classic "Noah" skit is one of his all time best routines.
