I'm a big fan of Johannes Linstead and own all of this CDs. I love all of them. Needless to say, I was very excited when a new one came out after a year+ silence.

It was a huge disappointment. My biggest gripe is a ridiculous overabundance of flute. It feels like I'm listening to a flute solo album rather than my favorite Spanish guitar. Either that or, as someone already mentioned, the songs are mostly repetitive and not memorable.

I really hope Johannes can put the flute down in the next album and incorporate as much guitar as possible, it's what he does best, after all.

Osho Kundalini Meditation

This music was designed specifically for Osho's Dynamic and Kundalini meditations. However, one does not need to be a man of meditation to enjoy this music.

First track - the effect of this is staggering. It begins with nervously chaotic chimes (?) and turns into an electrifying, energetic blast of pure spirit and feeling.

Second track - this is more wild and free. The eternal celebration, so to speak. A dance that never ends. To dance until the dancer is lost and only the dancing remains.

Third track - the true beauty of this album. It is contemplative at a much slower tempo than his younger brothers. A sense of the ancient-most eternity can be gleamed from the feeling that pervades this piece.

Before I purchased The Heart of Reiki CD, I had previously purchased 3 other CDs from Merlin's Magic (Reiki The Light Touch, Healing Harmony and Tai Chi- all purchased through Amazon.com) and was very happy with all three so after reading the reviews about this CD I decided to buy it, and I love it. The Heart of Reiki is just as beautiful and relaxing as the others I have from Merlin's Magic. This is the kind of music that you can listen to for meditating, to relax, to do spiritual healing, to play it when you have company, or just to fill your living space with positive calming energy & vibrations. I absolutely love it and so have my family & friends that have listened to it.

Daniel May is one of my personal favourites, and this album is my favourite of his. I'm not much for the airy fairy nonsense, and there is nothing airy fairy about this CD. It is excellent if you want something to make you feel light and content, good for when you're cleaning or studying.

I love this CD. I listen to it all the time as background when I'm cleaning around the house. It makes me feel like I'm right there at the beach. All that's missing is the smell of the ocean. Totally awesome!

Sacred Treasures: Choral Masterworks From Russia

Sacred Treasures is one of the most beautiful discs I have listened to in a long time. The music evokes a heavenly choir. My personal favorite is track 12, Cherubim by Tchaikovsky. It moves me to a different place. A place I'd like to stay.
