I have 3 children-all 3 have gone to sleep (and naps) listening to this wonderful CD collection. After 6 years,it has literally WORN OUT! My 6 year old and 2 year old girls cannot fall asleep without it. So, I am back online in search of a replacement. I am also pregnant-again! And am going to purchase a 2nd CD!~
It is worth EVERY PENNY!!

This is wonderful. It makes you rethink what a melody is, a string of code reiterating itself to you until it has replicated inside you. There is no longer an 'it' -- there is only you again. It makes you wonder if anyone whose parents actually played this stuff to them when they were a baby might somehow come across a copy of this CD, and put it on, and unknowingly allow it to trigger old, old memory-strings, and be turned, suddenly and perhaps only for an instant, back into a cribbed infant...

We received this CD as a gift right after our little girl was born, and she has listened to it almost every night since then (15 month now). It seems to completely relax her, and she knows it so well now that it actually relaxes and helps her sleep when we are away from home. We also hear it in the monitor while going to sleep, and it is soothing for us as well! I love it, we have gotten some other lullaby CDs and this one is at the top of the list as far as I am concerned!

I purchased this album and The Cure version as well. This is a great album, I liken it to Frosti style track on Vespertine. I played it in the car when I received it and I felt like curling up to sleep.

My daughter falls right out when I play it for her. The only unfortunate thing is that she will wake up when it stops playing.

We really love this CD. The songs are not "dumbed down" and made annoying for children, but sound like the original recordings and are enjoyable for adults to listen to. A lot of the words are very meaningful and touching from a Christian perspective unlike the more "traditional" lullabies like "Rock a Bye Baby," and it's just very soothing, calming and beautiful music. My personal favorite song is "Anna" by Michael W. Smith that he wrote for his daughter Anna...you'll cry it is so sweet...especially if you have a daughter named Anna! This is the best lullaby CD we've found and I highly recommend it for getting ready for bed in the evenings or long car trips and I think it's a great gift for new parents too.

I love this CD-more importantly, so does my baby. I play it at bathtime and once he is dressed and fed-my son drifts of to sleep becuase this music is so relaxing. And I am glad I don't have to listen to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Lullabye & Goodnight a million times. I am a Cure fan and will be getting more of the Lullabye Rendition Cd's Like the Eagles and The Rolling Stones.

Thank you for making these words and melodies for the male voice. All the lullaby music we could find was either instrumental or female vocals. While I appreciate (and buy) both of those types (see Vol. 1 of Dream with Me Tonight!), I was really moved to see this offering. We listen to it as much as we do Vol. 1 and I find a great satisfaction in knowing that, at some level, my kids are hearing a male voice send messages of musical loving. The vocals are beautiful and a great job was done on production.
